GF Pancakes with peanut butter & chocolate sauce by @photobymanda 🍫
1 cup rice flour⠀
1 mashed banana⠀
2 tsp gluten free baking powder⠀
1/4 tsp salt⠀
1/4 tsp cinnamon⠀
1 cup glutenfree oat milk⠀
How to make:⠀
Just mix all of the ingredients and fry in a pan with some coconut oil. Serve with any topping you prefer!⠀
For the peanutbutter & choc topping:⠀
1 tbsp peanutbutter⠀
1 tsp cacao powder⠀
1/2 tbsp agave syrup⠀
2 tbsp water⠀
1-2 tsp glutenfree flour⠀
How to make:⠀

Sharing Authentic Japanese Okonomiyaki recipe of Osaka style. Which has been so popular in my cooking class. Instead of pork, you can try sliced bacon, seafoods, corn and so on! What’s are your fav okonomiyaki ingredients?
Ingredients （２ servings）
・1 tsp bonito soup stock
・a pinch of salt ・80cc water
・60g pork back libs
・150g cabbage, shredded
・10cm spring onion, finely sliced
・20g red pickled ginger
・2 tbsp Tempura batter flakes
・2 tsp vegetable oil
［Okonomiyaki sauce］combine below in a pan and stir. Heat the pan until the sauce is thicken.
・2 tbsp Worcester sauce ・2 tbsp Tomato ketchup
・1 tsp soy sauce ・2 tsp sugar .
・Dried bonito ・Ground green seaweed （optional） .
１．Combine the ingredients in [Batter] and whisk until smooth.
２．Add cabbage, spring onion, tempura batter flakes, red pickled ginger, egg to above1. and mix.
３．Heat oil in a flying pan. Pour the mixture into the pan, keeping it circular. Place the pork atop the mixture. Cover with a lid and grill love medium heat for about 4 minutes. Flip over and grill for another 4 minutes.
４．Serve on a plate and drizzle it with sauce and mayonnaise. Sprinkle with garnishments to taste.

We must be getting old... or just just wiser with our food choices 😋 (Or both 😂) When it comes to eating out we love a balance of healthy foods as well as the indulgent ones too 😜 but another added bonus when sharing a meal out with someone is when you both can’t decide between savoury or sweet , just order one of each! 🤷♀️ Trev and I are planning to do a lot more home cooking (could be awesome or a complete disaster 😂) what would you guys like to see us cook more of SAVOURY or SWEET foods?

Umpteen times I have passed this bbq joint in Mathis on my way to and from San Antonio. I don't know why it took me so long to finally stop and try them out today. The weather was horrible, rainy and completely overcast, but that Smolik's sign with the Texas Monthly top bbq joints completely swayed me!!!!! So glad we stopped because it is a neat little place!!! They have some cute tchotchkes, jams, jerky, baked goods, etc in their shop. Not to mention, they have nice clean bathrooms and delicious smoked bbq!!! We were in a hurry so got it to go, but will definitely have to slow down and take my sweet time in the future!!! Chopped bbq sandwich was awesome and that bun tasted freshly baked! 😋 Sausage, brisket and pork ribs were fantastic as well! Next time, I'll try the baked goods! 😁😋😊

Pasta with Sweet Potato Sauce and mushrooms by @biancazapatka 🧡 Recipe:
12 oz any pasta (340 g)⠀
chopped herbs (for garnish)⠀
Vegan Sweet Potato Sauce:⠀
1 sweet potato (approx. 12 oz)⠀
½ tbsp olive oil or coconut oil⠀
1 onion chopped⠀
2 cloves garlic chopped⠀
½ cup soaked cashews (75 g) or cashew butter (or sub coconut cream)⠀
2/3 cup water (160 ml)⠀
2 tbsp nutritional yeast flakes (optional)⠀
1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)⠀
½ tsp sea salt or more to taste⠀
freshly ground black pepper⠀
1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)⠀
1 tbsp oil⠀
9 oz mushrooms (250 g) sliced⠀
2 cloves garlic chopped (optional)⠀
salt and pepper to taste⠀
Soak cashews for at least 3-4 hrs. Otherwise, you can cover them with boiling water and soak for only approx. 15 min to speed up the process, or simply use cashew butter.⠀
Prick sweet potato a few times with a fork and microwave until soft, for 6-7 min. (Optionally, bake the sweet potato in the oven at 425°F for about 50-60 min). Afterwards, peel it and scoop out the flesh.⠀
Cook pasta according to package directions in a salted pot of water.⠀
While pasta is boiling, in a pan over medium high heat, heat the oil. Add the onion, stir and let cook until translucent, about 5 min. Add garlic and roast for one minute longer.⠀
Remove onions and garlic from the pan and add it to a blender along with soft sweet potato, cashews, nutritional yeast, smoked paprika, lemon juice, salt, & black pepper.⠀
Blend it together for 2 min, or until smooth. Add more water & seasonings until desired consistency and taste if necessary.⠀
Pour sauce into a large skillet or pan. Heat over medium heat while stirring for 2-3 min, or until hot and bubbly.⠀
When pasta is al dente, drain, add to the sauce and toss to combine. Cook for about 1-2 min until sauce sticks well to the pasta. (If sauce gets too thick, add more water or plant milk.⠀
Pan-fry mushrooms in a pan with some oil for 6-8 min until golden browned. Add garlic & roast for one min longer. Season with salt and pepper to taste.⠀
Serve your creamy pasta with roasted mushrooms & fresh chopped herbs to garnish & more yeast flakes/ vegan cheese. #veganfoodpace

I actually thought my body doesn't tolerate avocado, but this time there was no stomach pain🎉. Do you like avocados??🥑💚
I will go to the gym pretty soon and hopefully I'll be filming some of my workout excercises today🙈. It's super akward when you see people talking about you taking selfies in the mirror or filming, but I want to record my progress and I'm pretty sure I will get more comfortable with this everytime I do it. People always judge and I will not let fear or insecurity stop me 💪🏼
