The Battles of Saratoga is often considered by many the turning point in the American Revolution, favoring the Americans.
The failed American invasion of Canada in 1775-1776 left a large amount of British troops along the St. Louis River. In 1777 these troops would move down south to link up with General Sir. William Howe's troops along the Hudson River. Gen. John Burgoyne led a force of 7,500 down south capturing Fort Ticonderoga. He then left a 1,000 men to garrison Fort Ticonderoga while he continued down south where he encamped near Saratoga, New York. Gen. Horatio Gates who was camped four mile away had 11,000 men and was receving daily reinforcements.
The First Battle of Saratoga took place at the Battle of Freeman's Farm where the British and some German troops attacked the Americans troops with full force. After several hours of intense fighting, the fighting stopped when both sides withdrew at dusk. Despite that the Americans only lost half of what the British and Germans lost.
With very few men left and supplies running low the British attacked the Americans again relying on reinforcements that never comes. The British fought desperately but the overwhelming American troops of 20,000 was too much for the British. On October 17, Burgoyne surrendered under the conditioned of Saratoga which allowed the British to return to Britain on the condition that they would not serve again in the war.
The Battles of Saratoga persuaded the French to finally recognize American Independence and openly declared on the British; leading to America winning the war.

Peace Movement: This is a universal love note. "Don't Be Hating" #donbhatn
HATE IS THE TOXIC FUEL THAT POWERS DARK DEEDS. - O.M.
Find the quality of the cause from which the effect did proceed. See it for what it is, separated from all that is material. Then consider the cause of its existence. Everyone can feel the change in today's society. The question is what are we going to do about it?
The Herald of the Hardened Heart
What is the significance of our emblem? What does it mean?
The herald symbolizes a hard heart. To effect change, people must soften their hearts. The heart does more than merely function as a pump. This must start at an individual level. We encourage everyone to become aware of the danger unbridled hatred poses to we all.
Both sides of the aisle are fueled by hatred. DonBHatn constitutes a third voice; devoid of hate, imbued with love and reason. This is the crux of our social movement. We believe that individual change grows into a societal shift. Consider the effectiveness of past emblems and slogans: "Don't be a litterbug" cute bee emblem. Inverted Y inside a circle "Give peace a chance". Yellow smiley face "Have a nice day". Purple "hardened heart". DonBHatn. All of the aforementioned have or will effect attitudinal change globally.
We encourage everyone to raise awareness regarding uncontrolled hatred, and the dangers involved. Please join us in promoting the recognition and realization of personal responsibility. As the volume of our voice grows, we start at a grassroots level, implementing social justice
in a mature and natural manner. Discourage the hateful; but show them what they're missing. Give everyone the space and opportunity to see the light.

We woke up at 5:30 and hiked to this amazing lookout spot in the dark to take some photos as the sun came up. We got some really amazing shots as the sun came over the cliffs behind us and shone and the cliffs in front of us. I brought my tools and we had some extra time to give Phil a haircut on the edge of this cliff that looked out over the Zion canyon. What a beautiful place! You should all go to check out Zion and the rest of Utah.

Just a bubba but still great fun!! It’s great to see a lot of smaller toga to show the health of the system! This guy smacked a little frog off the surface. I caught a few this size and a few more that were a bit larger. Days off now and time to hit the saltwater baby 🤙 @cast_emag@poptilyadrop
