1. Mencegah Penyakit
Salmon memang dikenal mampu membuat tubuh menjadi lebih kuat melawan berbagai penyakit. Mulai dari masalah pencernaan karena adanya asam amino sebagai penangkal, hingga penyakit mematikan seperti kardiovaskular, radang sendi, dan diabetes.
2. Meningkatkan fungsi otak

Spent last weekend hiking in Central Oregon. While amazing views were expected, amazing food came as a surprise! In a tiny town off the beaten path in a restaurant without an instagram account called Dillon’s Grill I had the best blackened salmon tacos ever.
For today’s dinner, I loosely recreated those tacos. @copperriversalmon sliced lengthwise then across, seasoned with salt and pepper and quickly blackened in butter on each side on high heat in a cast iron skillet.
Homemade Pico de Gallo:
4 diced plum tomatoes
1/2 a medium red onion, diced
A handful of chopped cilantro
A pinch of red chili flakes
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 teaspoon salt
Homemade tartar sauce:
1 cup mayo
1 cup chopped dill pickles
A handful of chopped parsley
1tsp lemon juice
Two new to me @costco finds:
Parmesan Folios and Egg Thins. We tried both tonight. Both were quite good. We thought the mild-tasting egg thins were better suited for a fish taco, but will definitely use the folios in other meals. I’ll post both to my stories.
July 16, 2019 - Today a few of our guests caught a nice variety of pink salmon, halibut, black cod, chum salmon, rockfish, and cod. A little rain isn’t stopping anyone from having a great time out here! Now it’s time to enjoy another great meal next to the fireplace in the lodge.
Meal prepped for the week with leftovers from tonight’s supper. Took me less than 30 minutes & my meals are portioned out according to my meal plan.

Taco Tuesday comin in hot! Chipotle Lime Salmon Tacos with Avocado Mango Salsa are up on TNK & have been absolute magic to my weekday dinners lately 🌮🌮
I don’t know about you but tacos are my spirit animal. Especially cajun style fish with a nice crisp paired with refreshing summer salsa si? 💃🏿
Love serving them in @sietefoods cashew tortillas or mini corn style heated up with some veggies on the side to balance it all out 👌🏾
Ya know, there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t wish my metabolism was what it was when I was in my early 20’s and I could eat an entire bag of pizza rolls and a star crunch, or that someone else would do my dishes when I make a bomb 💣 plate of food for myself every night. Healthy and delicious Salmon Rolls 😋

4 (4-ounce) skinless salmon fillets⠀
1 cup ricotta⠀
2 tablespoons olive oil, divided⠀
Zest and juice of 2 lemons, divided⠀
2 tablespoons basil, chopped⠀
Salt, to taste⠀
Black pepper, to taste⠀
12 asparagus spears, trimmed⠀
Pesto olive oil⠀
Preheat oven to 400 degrees, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.⠀
In a small bowl, combine ricotta, one tablespoon of olive oil, juice and zest of one lemon, chopped basil, and salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.⠀
Brush salmon fillets with olive oil. Season with salt. Place some ricotta mixture on each of the fillets and top with asparagus spears. Roll salmon and secure with toothpicks. Brush with remaining olive oil and top with salt.⠀
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until salmon is tender and golden. Remove from oven and top with remaining lemon juice and zest. Brush with pesto olive oil and serve immediately. 📷: taste made

Salmon tastes better on Sunday, am I right?. This grilled salmon (using a pan) and arugula salad with corn, tomatoes, mini bell pepper, Kalamata olives, feta cheese, olive oil and peppercorn.
To get grilled marks on your salmon; 1) let’s your pan to get really hot.
2) use non-sticky oil spray.
3) put the salmon and lower the heat to medium-low.
I use the same tips for chicken. I haven’t tried it for steak, tho🙆🏽♀️
🇪🇸El salmón sabe mejor el domingo, ¿verdad? Este salmón a la parrilla (usando una sartén) y ensalada de rúcula con maíz, tomates, mini pimiento, aceitunas Kalamata, queso feta, aceite de oliva y pimienta en grano.
Para obtener marcas asadas en su salmón; 1) deja que tu sartén se ponga realmente caliente.
2) use aceite en aerosol no pegajoso.
3) Poner el salmón y bajar el fuego a medio-bajo.
Yo uso los mismos consejos para el pollo. No lo he probado para bistec🙆🏽♀️

Chile Lime Salmon & Crispy Cauliflower Gnocchi with TJ’s Vegan Kale Cashew Pesto🐟🌱
Crispy Cauliflower Gnocchi Directions:
- Don’t follow the directions on the bag!!!
- Sauté the Cauliflower Gnocchi in the oil of your choice (I use olive oil) for 10-15 minutes depending on how crispy you like your gnocchi.
- I topped these with TJ’s vegan cashew pesto.
Chile Lime Salmon Directions:
- Place salmon in a good non-stick pan, skin side up. I used TJ’s olive oil spray in the pan so that the salmon didn’t stick.
- Cook on one side for about 5-6 minutes depending on how thick the cut is. Flip the salmon and cook for another 3 minutes. Once the salmon is done, it should flake nicely with a fork. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
- I topped the salmon with cilantro lime vinaigrette and TJ’s Chile Lime Seasoning. Spritz with fresh lime.

Grilled salmon, fresh chopped veggies, quinoa all dressed up with lime juice + zest and extra virgin olive oil

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Place the salmon in a baking tray. Drizzle salt and 1 tbsp olive oil on top. Put in oven for 12 mins or until cooked through.
2️⃣ Put red onion and 1 tsp olive oil in a skillet on medium heat. Cook while stirring for 4-5 mins. Add the ginger, chilli and garlic and cook for additional 3-4 mins.
3️⃣ Put the salmon in a large bowl and flake using a fork. Add the red onion mix, breadcrumbs, eggs, fish sauce and parsley and mix well. Form the cakes using your hands (approx 2 tbsp mix per cake).
4️⃣ Heat canola oil a skillet on medium-high heat. Place the salmon patties into the pan and cook for 4 mins on each side (make sure not to overcrowd you skillet). Squeeze some lime juice on top and serve the cakes with sweet chilli sauce.
👨🍳 you can substitute salmon with white fish such as cod, pollock or haddock 🐟
