Nice little stumble at 4 miles in to keep me on my toes 🙈 thankfully the blessing of having a slightly larger than average backside meant that took the brunt of the fall! 🤣 .
Need to work on slowing down, no way I could sustain another 12 miles today at that pace, I’ve made that mistake before. Burn out is not fun! But for this week, I’m just happy it looks like this marathon cycle is getting back on track after a 3 week blip ❤️🐝❤️

Since I’m taking it easy ready for a 10km event tomorrow I won’t be in active wear for 2 days! 😱⠀
In preparation for half term, last night ended in a kitchen prosecco party with some of the school mams ! ⠀
Today wont involve any prosecco but I can’t promise after my run tomorrow I might not indulge in a glass . ⠀
Although my usual craving after an event is orange Fanta ! What does everyone else crave ?
After 4 weeks of flu 😱 today I went for a teeny tiny run. It was so fecking hard getting out the door!! I felt slow, unfit, lethargic, sluggish, uncomfortable 🥵 . Its scary how quickly you can lose confidence and the fitness youve built up over months and months of effort. But hey, I did it and next time wont feel as hard 🤞
To anyone who is feeling the fear of starting something new, of taking the plunge and entering that first race, of coming along to a TMR social for the first time, of getting back to it after illness or injury, even just making the decision to do a bit of exercise. I see you; I know how it feels; but I promise you nothing will ever ever be as hard as taking that first step..could today be the day? Would love to hear your stories below....
