I met this girl at the movies (military mom’s page meetup for the win), and she has been absolutely a light in my life ever since! We went to all the coaching events in Florida together, even went out to New Orleans and got to see our dreams coming true in front of our eyes.
I did not start with family support, I don’t have a significant other to cheer me on, it was just me and the little. The people I was around did nothing but party, drank, and sat around complaining about everything instead of trying to actually live their life.
Now I have a whole group of women that I am blessed to call friends alongside of this crazy journey with me. We still go out for drinks sometimes, but I have a way more positive outlook on life and do more than the same old bad habits that got me feeling so low in the first place.

Well the day is almost here! I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have my doubts. The smoke in #YEG these past few weeks combined with my asthma had me going from running 3-4x a week to once in last two weeks. I was getting very frustrated and going stir crazy from being stuck in the house, and was starting to get super bummed that all my training to get to this point would be lost. Then, as if on queue, the smoke magically cleared out today!
I love the @edm_marathon 1/2! I love running in my own city! I love having people at the finish line cheering me on! Tomorrow’s race will be the first one that Easton sees me finish, and one of the first ones where Kendrick understands what’s happening and will be cheering me on! As the blue sky started emerging today I started getting more and more excited.
Tomorrow will be the longest distance I’ve run since having Easton 7.5 months ago. I’m nervous but I’m going to take it easy. My goal is <2:40. I’ll be thinking about those who are still being affected by the smoke in BC, and who’ve been evacuated from their homes or lost personal belongings. I can only hope that there will be some relief soon!

I haven’t ran 6 miles in almost a year so this is the REAL HAPPY DEAL. 12 weeks #csection postpartum, #breastfeeding, tired mama—loose skin and stretchies to boot. Is this the most flattering picture? UH NOPE. Does it matter? NOT AT ALL. •
This run almost didn’t happen. Sleep hasn’t been exactly abundant and by the time I finally woke up after my husband took JT, I was 4 hours late for my run with my friend. I told myself I could just skip it, but then I remembered—the haunted half is at the end of October. If I skipped today, getting back on track would be exceedingly difficult. So I made a deal with myself—one hour. Run for an hour, don’t check the watch, and see where I end up. •
I gave up. Twice. But kept going. And when the watch read 6, I about cried. This is the product of almost 3 months of active recovery, support, and love—from myself to myself and family. Least to say, celebrated this one big. Hills tomorrow, 7 to tackle next week with a full training week in between. If you’re contemplating starting some sort of routine, don’t wait. Start now, even if it’s a crawl, you’ll get to a sprint, it starts with just one step. Y’all rock, happy long run Saturday
Ya en la recta final a solo una semana de mi evento #16millasdesabrina . Con mi mente enfocada y cuidando de mi cuerpo para evitar lesiones. Levantarme temprano para CORRER es una experiencia maravillosa. Poder ver el amanecer mientras escucho mis pasos , mi respiración y veo la grandeza de Dios en mi vida. Mi pasión por correr 🏃🏾♀️ me ha llevado a crecer como persona pues he visto que no hay límites para cuando quieres obtener un algo. Me ha estructurado, disciplinado y me ha impulsado no solo a obtener mi logro conquistando kilómetros si no que en otras áreas de mi vida también es posible si me mantengo enfocada y alineada a lo que realmente quiero. Soy la responsable de que mis sueños y metas se realicen por tanto si no me esfuerzo y me sacrifico por lo que quiero no lo lograre. Por eso es que levantarme a las 4am se ha convertido para mi en la clave para que mi día sea uno excelente y poder contar con todo ese tiempo para ser productiva y mejor como persona. Hoy puedo decir que me encanta la idea de poder comenzar mi día conquistando esos kilómetros que me llevarán a la cima del ÉXITO . Así como yo lo estoy logrando tú también puedes, sea cual sea tu sueño o tu meta . Voy a mi y voy a ti !!!! .

2 workouts #likeaboss under 1 hour!! I’m super sore from leg day so I made sure it was all HIIT, no weights, and that’s the beauty of our ondemand fitness... sooooo many to choose from!

Day 68/80 “If it was easy everyone would do it, you are supposed to challenge yourself” *please excuse the serious face, my legs were dying*
With only 2 weeks left the water works, final check off of workouts and joy for completing a SECOND round of a program I never thought I would get 30 days into the first time! Yea that’s right, I started the first time fully intending to quit by day 30 😅 but something happened that I kept saying just one more week until it was day 80 and I was like “well damn guess I can complete it!” So here I am day 68 (part 2) just an emotional ball because I don’t want it to end, I love the accountability and push she has created in me again (also it’s so hard that I just feel like I have to keep going to show her up 🤣). Soooo...it was a no brainer to go to one of her other programs that I have had just as great of results with, but this time take it a step further and do the meal prep 100% because eating right is half the battle!! To make things better, it became a team effort for us, so we were able to open up a few more spots next month 😊 there are now 4 spots opened, send me a message for the info to be added 😀
