Still climbing the charts, surrounded by many far more famous names but still packing a punch 👊 just as the sub title says, "never ever give up" 👍💪💖 Now to get ready for the Maverick Tribe Run Free event today, looks like a great day for it 🏃
My body made it through 6 weeks of training before it broke down again. Just because I restored my weight and got my period back doesn't necessarily mean my bones are strong enough, they lag behind a bit. Last weekend I just didn't want to eat, I was so upset to be hurt again. But my body is telling me it's in need of healing, so I'm doing my best to eat well. I tried to cheat my body this year, but I can tell you it doesn't work. I've lost half a year of running all because I lost 10lb that I have had to gain back anyway to be healthy. All I can say is be very very careful if you think losing weight will help your running, even just a little bit. That's what I thought I was doing, but it quickly got out of control. The repercussions of that experiment are with me four months later and will be following me into 2019. Anyway, enough doom and gloom! Here's a delicious strawberry, whey and collagen shake to help me out on my journey back to full fitness #comebackqueen#bonehealth#femaleathlete#keepshowingup#nevergiveup#porcelainrunner#brokenbonesbrokenheart#runningislikebreathing#runnersofinstagram

Waiting for the darkness to disappear so I can head out for my run. Have less time than I originally thought so a speedy 2.5 miles is on the cards instead of the 4 I planned.
Viele tolle Sachen waren dort drin.
A loss on the scales this week but not in centimetres. Personally I'm happy with this. I am still nursing my knee injury picked up last week so have barely walked anywhere let alone run. It is much better just not where I'd like it. Time for rest and patience. Two things I really struggle with.
Vegas Baby! So much fun, a little distracting with the many sights and lights but that’s ok. Running in the dark is my thing. Cool 50’s weather a +! and So glad the winds died down too. Great support but not many porta potties til mile 9 ! Flat course with a slight incline last 2 miles, my lack of training was felt in those last miles with sore muscles the next days Sad! Note to self: the elliptical is no substitute for running
Friday! 🤪😋 Stocked up for the weekend. 😋🤓🍭🍡🍫🥜🍾 Happy training! 🤗😋

Yeaaaassssssss!!! Totally surprised myself after yesterday’s run; so you better believe I was doing a happy dance!
After seeing my first mile (8:24) I decided to do a 5K to see what the legs had in them for the remaining mileage. The pushing load now with two is pretty heavy (something I’m not totally used to) but my body seemed resilient to it.
Say what you want ..... People will have their own opinions and say hurtful things.
I am so proud of this 6 weeks Postpartum body and what it is already accomplishing. I missed that feeling of hard work and today most definitely did that for me.
ONLY YOU KNOW YOUR BODY. I’m going to keep doing ME......both safely & happily on this new journey🙌🏼
I think growth is pretty grool. A year ago I was unsatisfied with my Marine Corps finishing time, and ran a half marathon PR two weeks later. I didn’t rest after and haphazardly went into a Boston training cycle that ended in some more disappointment but still, BOSTON 18 💙💛☃️. Best day ever.
Enter in @itsheathersturn. She inherited a burnt out runner who had zero concept of rest and downtime. Among other things, the best thing she made me do was slow my easy miles down, despite what my Vdot assigned easy pace was. The bulk of my 60+ mile weeks were easy miles in the 9:20-9:30 pace. The workouts were hell in one of the hottest summers I can remember here in Michigan but they made me stronger. I gained a ton of endurance, AND I think I only ran something like 2 800s the whole cycle. WHAT UP.
Also, yeah there’s a physical difference here. I’ve spent the last year putting on more muscle through strength training and actually eating. It makes a real difference. Who knew? 🤷🏻♀️😬
PS: coach, please don’t look at my shoes in the left pic, thanks 🙃

Pro tip for running in the cold: Whatever you do, DON’T LICK YOUR LIPS! 😩
