I'm going to be spending about 4 hours running the Orcutt trails tomorrow starting around 10:00am. Open invitation to join me. Join me for as long as you want.😁🏃♂️

Quads and Chins and parkrun PBs. Love a course that makes you stop dead in your tracks to turn around 😑 a PB is a PB but I'm dissapointed anyway 🤷♀️ head wasn't in the game and I spent the whole fourth KM thinking "It's just not worth it" can now honestly say I hate short distances 😂 ... 20:41 😆 def not worth it

20x800 on the track and Friday is done! Pretty sure my only motivation to get things done right now is this green boxes in training peaks ✅ #whateverittakes, right?

Late night Governor’s Brook 5K easy pace to kick off my 3 day weekend. After the last 2 days at work I really needed this! One of my new fave running spots. Well lit at night, sidewalks all throughout and virtually no traffic. The view of downtown Halifax on the horizon from here is pretty cool too! Really want to live there! #governorsbrook#lifegoals
MORE IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER
So today I ran 6 treadmill miles...I’m training for my next half marathon which happens to be in 7 weeks. Have any of you used Hal Higdons training guide?? It’s my go to because he’s so thorough and gives great tips regarding training, stretching, and avoiding injury. ✨
I highly advise when using a planner to stick to it. A few times I’ve missed a scheduled running day and tried to make it up the next by running the previous day’s miles plus that days miles and lets just say...it didn’t work too well. Especially if that falls right before a long run. Heavy, tired legs are of no use on a long run.
One more thing, don’t get too wrapped up in your daily rises and pitfalls you forget to enjoy the process. Enjoy what you are capable of no matter how great or small.
A corrida me transmite paz.
Vamos ver quanto tempo ele dura.
Dica da compra nos Destaques.

I started Love Run Train because I love running, and I want other people to love running too. I have found so many health and fitness benefits from running, and it led me to pursue becoming a running coach, and to create a place for runners to belong. Tonight was the first monthly group run for Love Run Train. My vision for these group runs is that we would be a welcoming environment for those new to the sport. A community that you can belong to. Tonight was a success because of each and every runner, every volunteer, and every cheerleader. Runners, walkers, doesnt matter - you belong here. This is your community. We are here for you cheering every step of the way.

My 18 miler ended in this spot Wednesday morning.
This years marathon training has been different, in every way.
It’s relaxed rather than rigid, grace-filled rather than criticism-filled. I’m enjoying (almost) every mile out there, it’s beyond refreshing & healing.
Counting down until the blue line with my dad on September 29th.
Sidenote: is there really anything better than an ivy covered brick wall? Nah.

Friday 1000m Intervals on the track ➡ That was an intense training session in the rain this evening. Although it wasn't the perfect weather for speed work, the rain still had a cooling effect. Hardest part was getting myself to the track and taking the first step, but once I got started, everything became a lot easier. 👍

Took the Reebok Floatride Run Fast for its first run today totalling 12km in distance and I have only one word.
I never would have believed I'd be gushing over a Reebok but I am. Extremely lightweight with a thin and very breathable engineered mesh upper that secures the foot snugly like a true racer should be, with no seams or overlays that will cause irritation during your run.
A nice flexible and firm ride in the forefoot with just enough softness in the heel to work as a long distance racer which makes it a true go-fast tempo shoe minus the harsh ride that's usually associated with racing flats. The outsole is so grippy that running in the rain on a smooth surface is going to be just fine.
Only complain I have is the shoe is pretty darn noisy that it made me feel like I was thumping my feet hard when I knew I wasn't. Could also be associated with that durable outsole. A more detailed take once I put in more miles but for now I see a nice relationship developing between me and the Floatride Run Fast!

Too lazy and unorganized to do a proper “Flat Mike” pre race photo... so instead here’s a pile of the crap I’m wearing for Marquette 50k in the morning.. piles on top of a cot in an old house I’m sleeping on.
I should really get my shit together before my hundred miler in 20 days😂
When I heard “beepbeepbeepbeepbeeeeep” from a car 🚗 following me on the start of my run, then my favorite neighbor, my sister @samanthahagen24 jumps out of the car!!!! 😍 I knew it was going to be a GREAT run!! (After early spin.. despite being short) Got to ride to the beach and back tonight with my dad!! Finished with core work. Well spent Friday! What was the highlight of your day?
Minor setbacks are pretty shitty, but not shitty enough to make me quit-ty.😅
*** If you're sensitive to TMI, female ♀️ issues, or just don't wanna read a long-ass 😴 post - 🛑 Stop right there & don't say I didn't warn you 😏 ***
I'm just gonna get straight to the point:
I have endometrial polyps and THEY ARE LITTLE ASSHOLES!
Although I am EXTREMELY thankful they are non-cancerous, I have been hit with frustration over the minor setbacks they have created.
First of all, these f'rs are persistent! I've had two procedures (D&Cs) to remove them and after two quiet years, they're baaaaack!
They're costly. Medical took the brunt of the cost (for the D&Cs) but I still had pay a grand-plus out of pocket, for each. Not. Awesome. Other expenses: Sanitary products to last me the almost month-long bleeding, undergarments (because sometimes you get an f'n surprise), and supplements (mainly iron) - for blood loss.
They're emotionally and physically exhausting. Did I mention almost month-long bleeding? After a period, I have about a good week or so w/ no bleeding. The rest of the month: bloody hell! 😫 I'm a freakin' hot mess🔥! Crazy-hormonal, cramping, hypersensitive, hangry, anxious, and depressed. Due to blood loss: frequent headaches, dizziness, shortness of breath, and the worst of all: fatigue.
Ok, that's the gist of it. Rant. Over.
So that's what I've been dealing with these past couple months. Been feeling pretty down and drained and have been using up each-n-every second of "me" time, to recuperate.
It hasn't been fun and I got pretty close to letting this be my reason to quit (w/ my goals), but my stubbornness wouldn't see it that way. She pretty much told me to take two Tylenol💊 and call her in the morning -
👩⚕️"Look chick, this isn't the end of the world. Don't let this be your excuse to quit. You have things you want to do and you're going to do 'em. This is just a minor setback, That's all. Make a few adjustments, take it one day at a time. You'll get there, you'll see! You got this!"
I got this!!
TGIF!!!! I finished the workweek with an upper body workout and sprints on the treadmill. I find Fridays the toughest in terms of motivation. But they're actually the best day of the week to go since the gym is completely empty! I love an empty gym 👍👌 #motivation#gymrat#hiitworkout
Tomorrow is the FREE HARRA Party at the Park from 7 am - 10 am. •

I think it is so awesome that community is allowed to run the alumni meet! I went to school 1 hour south of here and graduated in 2009 and never ran in school. It is great to see so many people on the cross country team here! So inspiring to see there quickness!!
Tonight i realized i need tp push harder. I was way too comfortable at 1.5 when i only had .5 to go
Flex Friday: Stronger day by day, mile by mile. Daily work as Rust Never Sleeps. Photographed here 118 miles into the Badwater 135. The sun has just come up (again) and I was ready to make a charge up Mt Whitney to the finish. Never be complacent. Always challenge yourself to find your limits and break through them. #RunItFast#Badwater135 📷: @ultrarunners
