🏁 ”I can’t hear. I can’t see. I guess I’ll be a referee.” Just kidding... We 💙 our refs/judges! But there is plenty you may not know about their roles in the World Championship Running of the Tubs event coming up on June 1st:
1️⃣ Bribes are welcomed (in fact, encouraged!) 2️⃣ These aren't your normal rules. In fact, the rules could change at any time and solely at the discretion of the bathrobed judging team most of whom met today to hash out their strategy.
3️⃣ Our rolling referees are recruited from the Downtown Derby Dolls who also have a team in this year’s race. 😤 (Don’t fret... Points are all determined by the judges anyway and they will have to argue pretty hard to get a foul called on one of their own.) 4️⃣ The guidelines and rules (as they stand today) can be found by visiting the event page on hotsprings.org! Check out Sunday’s @hotsr paper for the newest rule, plus... we’ll throw just a couple more in before it’s all said and done. 😉 *️⃣ The fun all goes down, June 1st! See you there!
7 #Cardinal#Rules in #Life
> 1 - Make peace with your past, so it doesn’t spoil your present. Your past does not define your future – your actions and beliefs do.
> 2 - What others think of you is none of your business. It’s how much you value yourself and how important you think you are.
> 3 - Time heals almost everything, give time, time. Pain will be less hurting. Scars make us who we are; they explain our life and why we are the way we are. They challenge us and force us to be stronger.
> 4 - No one is the reason for your own happiness, except you yourself. Waste no time and effort searching for peace and contentment and joy in the world outside.
> 5- Don’t compare your life with others’, you have no idea what their journey is all about. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else’s, we would grab ours back as fast as we could.
> 6 - Stop thinking too much, it’s alright not to know all the answers. Sometime there is no answer, not going to be any answer, never has been an answer. That’s the answer! Just accept it, move on, NEXT!
> 7 - Smile, you don’t own all the problems in the world. A smile can brighten the darkest day and make life more beautiful. It is a potential curve to turn a life around and set everything straight.
Religion and society have a great bond. They determine their power while dealing together.. Every statement quoted in a religion is only for a good cause and builds human personality in a capable way... Here we are to state a good point which is followed by the Sikh religion. You never find a sardar beg for anything! You find them selling something but not begging..! They feel responsible to work hard and earn instead to beg.. A person becomes reckless to work hard if he gets everything by just begging.. We refer to people who are fair enough to work to feed themselves
Though the Sikh religion do not allow their people to beg, they give sense of equality and offer food to hungry people.. The help they do for the poor is priceless.. The religion has an important role in maintaining society.. This is considered in every religion.. Stop giving money in the name of religion.. #muffinheadsss#religion#sikh#humanity#peace #world#good#people#society #help#empathy#love#god#rules#quotes#belief#togetherness #happiness
Είχατε ποτέ την ευκαιρία να Διαπιστώσετε αυτή την τεράστια διαφορά μεταξύ των Γεγονότων που μας συμβαίνουν και του βαθμού που Εμείς Αντιδρούμε σε αυτά;

Those are some of the rules that every construction needs to have ⚠️✅
Afternoon all! These photos sum up yesterday (and to some extent today) as we have been stocktaking! Closed yesterday to do the majority of the visible contents of the shop, but open as usual today, counting feverishly under our breath as customers came and went! Have to say it’s all going really well, and big thanks to all the team but especially to T - my ‘partner in crime’ as one customer called her the other day 😘
At times, when we are not getting the results and outcomes in our life it may be that we are self sabotaging somewhere. -
Self-sabotage is an indication that we are punishing ourselves for something, and not treating ourselves as the worthy, incredible and important individuals we are. -
If we find ourselves making conscious or unconscious choices that derail us from attaining our desired goals; if we can identify things that we should be doing and you find ourselves repeatedly not doing them; if you say you are committed to one objective and your actions reflect that you are committed to another, the solution is rather simple: Self-love is the antidote to self-sabotage.
identify and examine your life and whether or not you have self-sabotaging behaviors. -
Ask yourself what are you punishing for?
Think of an action step you can do this week in support of forgiving yourself for that.
Another tip given by DaiyOM is to ask yourself three questions before making a choice that could lead us in the wrong direction.
Would someone who loves themselves make this choice?
Is this action an expression of someone who feels self love, or is it an act of self-sabotage?
Is this action worthy of someone who feels worthy of having everything they desire?
Remember to be the captain of your own team! Self awareness and self-love are powerful tools for our evolution. Have a great Tuesday. Outfit details link in bio. -

Living miraculously is about reaching the core of what is important for us: the heart of our feelings and essence and showing up for ourselves.
Understanding what we feel and what we need to learn during our different stages of our journeys. -
Shifting the question from: why is this happening to me? to what do I need to learn from this? this change creates a powerful paradigm shift in the way we feel about a situation. -
Miracles happen when we show up for ourselves despite our own inner negative thoughts and challenges. We just need to keep showing up. Regardless of the mood we are in, showing up is about persistence, resilience and intentionality. -
We don’t have to show up for every day covered in glitter and Pon-Pons, we just have to keep doing it. -
This like every other thing in life takes practice but is truly worth it. This is where miracles happen. Make it count and Make it yours. ⠀⠀
Looking for solutions and not for reasons to say no is one of the most powerful and impactful skills set and mindsets you could ever acquire. ⠀⠀
Are you a good problem solver? Below, some identified mindsets and behaviors to become one. Your life will become way more fun and productive. ⠀⠀
Good problem solvers are good thinkers, they intentionally look for solutions, alternatives and creative models to solve or approach a situation. ⠀⠀
They don’t need to be right all the time but they focus on finding the right solution solution rather than proving they are right at all costs. ⠀⠀
Good problem solvers go beyond their own conditioning. They go beyond a fixated mind set and open up to new ways of thinking and can explore options, ⠀⠀
Good problem solvers know the difference between complex and simple thinking; they know when to do a systematic and complex thinking and when to go through short cuts and find and easy solution. ⠀⠀
Good problem solvers have clear definition of what the problem is: They can specifically identity the problem and their mind goes to a creative space to find ways or solution to solve it. ⠀⠀
They use the power of words to connect with people: They are socially well developed and find ways to connect with people and try to find happy-middle solutions.
They are more of a positive thinker so naturally they are surrounded with more positivity and have more energy to be productive.
Good problem solvers explore their options: They also have a backup plan if the first solution does not work and can ask for support and advise when needed.
At the end, good problem solvers do not have too many irrational fears when dealing with problems. They can visualize the worst case scenario, work their way out of it and let go of the fear attached to it. -
Don’t say No, Say How! Good problem solvers advance families, institutions, communities, nations and ultimately the world! -

Wait?🤯 #virgilabloh appropriating artworks by artist Haroon Mirza???
Apparently not the first ‘citation’ needed or example, this unofficial ‘co-sign’ started in 2018 when the French fashion house #louisvuitton@lvmh (the world’s most valuable luxury brand, valued at $28.1 billion) began their campaign by appropriating artist #haroonmirza ’s solar panel installations for their window displays internationally: Paris, Sydney, London, etc, without his permission (great images online). Haroon had it well documented in @theartnewspaper.official@financialtimes@theipaperarts and by others, and later created a series of artworks entitled ‘Rules of Appropriation’ as a response to @louisvuitton and the fashion industry’s double standards in relation to its OWN use of appropriation in contrast to its strict regulations against ‘knock offs’, fakes, or imitations. #whereisthelove .
And now this...🕵️♂️Are the images above all by the same artist?? The first two images are of Virgil Abloh’s ‘new’ work ’12 Inch Voices’ (2019), and ALL other images are artworks by artist Haroon Mirza going back to 2003, with ‘A Million Cm^3 of Quite Space II, (2003), or his work ‘Digital Switchover (2012) to post only a few... U decide. . 🔈Our exhibition ‘Haroon Mirza: Tones in the Key of Electricity’
Opening June 8, 2019 - December 8, 2019, at The @sifangartmuseum , Nanjing will have more responses to these events, and in the context of CHINA - a larger dialogue around appropriation, imitations, ‘fakes’, and the breaking down of the ‘original’, amongst other things...
