And just like that it’s Friday. And just like that 4 more miles run.
Now, that the littles are back in school and our nights are jammed with activities, I feel like the weeks fly by. I live for Fridays, but they’ve been coming way too fast lately. Busyness makes the days blur together. We’re having fun, but sometimes I feel like I’m always running from one thing to the next. (No pun intended, though it does feel like a speedwork some days.) I do love watching my littles participate in sports and music and I think I’d much rather be busy doing that than filling the nights with TV at home. So come Friday, we’re ready to just make homemade pizza at home and veg. Only tonight my big little has an 8pm baseball game. So pizza first, then some baseball. Do you have a Friday night family ritual?
A few miles with friends late this morning was a great way to kick off this beautiful day. It’s still warm here, and I think I’m the only one not complaining. Holding on to summer as long as I can.
Happy Fri-Yay Lovies!
1.5 miles on the bike x 2
4 easy miles with friends, 9:24 pace
It's race week 🏃🏃
Last 3 weeks went very fast with some hard intervall sessions but I feel great for the next race 😍
Two more days until my first official halfmarathon @greifenseelauf
Goal is to run faster than 1:45, probably 1:40
Motivation of the day:
I don't stop when I'm tired, I stop when I'm done! Ready, set, go 🏃🔥
