Im unbelievably stressed right now and have a lot of chocolate in the house, not a good idea 🙅🏻♀️.
Last night I wanted to restart my diet today. Stress got the best of me and that didn’t happen 🤦🏻♀️. .
I’m going to try a mix of Keto(low carb) and weight watchers. I did really well on weight watchers.
I downloaded carb master app and sitting here feeling sorry for myself I decided to track what I’ve ate so far just as a eye opener of sorts I guess.
WOW I definitely blew it 😬. I’m going to do a healthy dinner and go from there.
Dinner. Fried konjac kuew teow.
First time cuba. Rupa dah hampir sama je macam kuew teow biasa, rasa je la lain. Tekstur kenyal-kenyal.
Paket macam mee segera, ingat untuk sekali makan. Masak la sebungkus tadi. Boleh untuk dua kali makan. Balance dah siap simpan untuk bekal esok.
Beli kuew teow & mee je. Nasi nampak tak best. Haha. Err sape dah pernah try yang nasi, cer komen sikit. Ok tak?
It’s amazing what a year can do. One year ago, I started CrossFit. The last 8 weeks have been amazing but challenging. Doing Pipehitter by @ashley.horner ( Go support her on her amazing journey of 50 triathlons in 50 days! 😳🏊🏼♀️🚴🏼♀️🏃🏼♀️) with the best motivator I could ever ask for @andrea_riofrio_halford has helped changed me the most. Not just physically, but mentally. Before, I was ok with just going to class, doing the WOD and going home 3-4 days a week. More exercise than most, but now seems like it would never be enough. We are all capable of way more than we could ever imagine. Each week something else hurts or is more of a challenge, but each week something else becomes easier and simply amazes me. Make the time to change your life. I refuse to let myself submit to my family history of health issues. I will be better, stronger and healthier for my family. Everyday is a second chance
I remember when I was restricting I would always tell myself I was a failure if I didn’t stick to my rules. If I gained weight I would punish myself and fast for 24-72hrs. I would put myself down and tell myself I was worthless. But I’m not. I’m not worthless or a failure. I’m a human being. So what if you eat a burger instead of your planned salad, sometimes you need to indulge and enjoy yourself. Your body is unique and it is important. You may be a size 12 but your sister could be a 2. Or you could be a 38 and your brother could be a 34. Size doesn’t matter it’s how you treat your body is what matters the most. If you want to be treated with respect treat your body wit respect, listen to your body. This is where everyday is a second chance comes into play. So you messed up one day, that’s okay continue doing your best and continue on reminding yourself that it’s okay to mess up its okay to cheat on your diet, it’s okay to be imperfect. But you can always try again, you can try again tomorrow if today doesn’t feel good for you. It’s okay to mess up, you are human, we aren’t born to be perfect. Remind yourself that tomorrow is a new day and a new chance.
Mindset matters. .
Mental transformation is JUST as important, if not more, than physical. .
Because, if you don’t learn to love yourself, how can you love others?

There were sooo many times when i first was trying to go #plantbased that I’d order or make any plain old salad. It would fill me only for a short period of time and ALWAYS left me feeling like i needed more. FINALLY, i learned how to build NUTRIENT-packed salads that leave me feeling FULL and energized!! The key to a salad that will nourish and supplement you is a SOLID BASE. Always work a spring mix with spinach, Swiss chard, or kale into your romaine and iceberg. Always try to have your super greens at a higher portion than your less-nutritional lettuces.
Next- TOPPINGS. Be wary of toppings that may taste yummy but don’t always add to the health factor of the dish. I love corn and egg on a cobb salad but they don’t always add nutrients our bodies actually need. Health conscious toppings are broccoli for fiber, cherry tomatoes for vitamins A&C, avocado for healthy fat, cucumbers for antioxidants and hydration, and carrots for vitamin C! (Just to name a few.) 🥑🥦🍅🥒
I love to roast cauliflower and place it on top in substitute of chicken. It has a hearty, filling texture and is high in vitamins, fiber, and antioxidants!! A salad like this for lunch keeps me fuller longer and feeling READY to power through the rest of my day!!

This girl came into my life and filled a whole inside me I didn’t know I was missing. I’m so lucky to get to be her bonus mom! Thankful for her moms that are down with coparenting. She’s a lucky girl to have so many people who love her!
