Rachel Lee creates her paintings-based off moments she has experienced, including the beauty and pain she felt with in that moment. She has always been driven and motivated by the imperfections and failures in not just her life but the environment around her. In her paintings that is where the real emotion and beauty comes from. The Talmadge Bridge painting is reflective in her style and homage to the beauty of Savannah through the dirt, pain and heartache we all feel with in our selves sometimes. She has created layer upon layer of varnish, gold leafing and journal writings that you can view when you look deep into each element of the painting. She hopes this piece brings you love and symbolizes strength in a world full of beauty and grit.
The original is available as well as a limited print production on giclee and canvas format.
