Continuing our Mexican roadtrip, we went to Rio Lagartos, a small fishing village, a Pueblo Magico as they like to call this kind of place!
There are no hotels, no tourist agencies or even a lot of tourists.
Here, one comes to eat freshly caught fish, and make a boat trip on the mangrove to admire the colonies of birds, including flamingos, pelicans, eagles, swans but also unreal fish and crocodiles.
We had also a facial mask with salty clay mud extracted at out request by our captain!
We were supposed to visit the pink lake, but unfortunately, we did not have time that day, because to see its best pink color, we should have been there around noon...
But it's okay, we enjoyed being in this relaxing place. And OH we saw for real for the very first time a Crocodile in its natural habitat 🐊
Las Coloradas Pink Lake in Yucatan! Is it really that pink or is everyone just cheating with photoshop!? See the difference between an edited photo and an unedited one in my latest blog post! Link in my bio... 👏🏻👏🏻 #yucatan#pinklake
