—> Last Tuesday morning, before Lynda and I headed off to The Winsors in Bathurst, N.B., I was filmed for an episode of SWEARNET, the Trailer Park Boy's internet show. Helix and the boys have a long history with each other; we've toured out west with them and Swollen Members (2008) and I was in Countdown to Liquor Day, their third movie (I think). As usual, they were very gracious to myself and Lynda, booking a room for us at The Delta, and renting a car for us for the week. Very cool... So we pack up our things at the hotel, hit a Timmies on the way, and go to SWEARNET Studios, just down the street. Mike is outside having a smoke as we arrive, the rest of the guys are inside scouring the internet for things to talk about on the show. After the compulsory hugs and hellos we head down to the set. There's not much talking; just a little chit chat as we sit ourselves at the table. The guys are still engrossed with their laptops and are discussing weird stories they are finding on the internet. There's one camera and a girl director cueing us. At the last minute Mike turns to me and says, "We run 30 minutes, no edits-GO!" and then we talked about pretty much nothing for 30 or so minutes. By the end of it I thought my bladder was going to explode, which was a good way to end off the segment...lol...I thought the funniest part was when Mike asks me three times if I thought Gene Simmons was an "arse-hole". Here's some pics Lynda took...The episode comes out today if you are signed up to get SWEARNET. .
Ricky is probably my favourite. You can never convince me that he was all trouble. All he ever wanted was him Lucy and Trin all in the same house living happily ever after. #rickytrailerparkboys
Also, this is me when I’m at a job interview 😂
