Last time I posted one of these line up photos I was going to Patagonia Chile to fish for my first time. Now five years later I have finished my last day of guiding there and after a morning of great fishing #guidesdayoff I am reloading my reels for me a #lefty and happy to have my gear back the right direction. Love the guide life but happy it’s come to an end. Guiding three months in a difficult environment made me stronger, more patient and skinnier than ever at least for now! #redingtongear#rioproducts#orvis#nautilusreels#airflowlines#flyfishing
Super excited to expand my fishing game in WA. The Puget Sound should have some cutthroat, steelhead, and salmon waiting for me! I can’t wait to become a stronger and smarter angler. I can’t wait to learn and fish different rivers and even learn to tackle the sea. So many firsts ahead I can hardly sit still!! 📸: @petej.ohnson
Today Betha and I went out and explored a new tailwater we've never been to before. We wanted a change of scenery and a new set of challenges, and that's what we got. We caught some of the prettier rainbows we have ever seen! With warmer temps and some amazing bug hatches, this made for a new favorite spot!
Just waiting for that giant mackinaw bite. This ice fishing thing isn’t bad if you have beer...lots of beer! I also found out I’m allergic to spin rods seeing as my hands got numb every time I touched one so that’s good to know!
