Oh cathedral veils, how I adore thee. I regret not having one for my own wedding! From a photo standpoint it adds so much to the imagery not to mention the elegant look of having it puddle at your feet. ✨ Dress: @robertbullockbride | Venue: @sprucemountainranch | Planning: @gardnereffect

I swoon over the little details in a wedding day 🌿✨ Always recommend to capture those early parts of your day! Take time for making sure you tell your story from start to finish & everything in between!
My little weekend away at the amazing Montville. When I first got into the wedding photography field, I dreamed of the travel around our region and still dream about capturing weddings overseas. This weekend is the first trip away over night without Steve and driving away from him yesterday was a bit sad for me. I am better now though, it's just that trips away are better with someone to share the experience. Currently enjoying amazing Montville views
VEIL OR NO VEIL? 👰🏻
While not all brides decide to wear a veil on their wedding day, we say it’s your only day to wear one, so go big or go home, right?! We also say that you will look more beautiful than ever before no matter what you choose for your big day, so you do you boo. 😉
Mariana chose this gorgeous cathedral length veil for her Catholic Church ceremony, & we love how every detail came together in such a classic way. More details on our blog. ✨

My last few instagram posts have been a little deeper, and I just wanted to bring back a little breath of spring with a throw back to Kim and Ethan's May wedding 🌿
An often overlooked awesome benefit to wedding photography is great music. Robin & David invited two bands, @thecountryduo, Bob & Sascha, to be the highlight to their backyard reception. Check our stories for more from this wedding!
To say that things have been crazy over this 10 day stretch would be a bit of an understatement. 12 events in ten days...but when this is a part of your week, and you love what you do, it’s very hard not to smile!

four years ago today, we woke up in a big a-frame cabin in Big South Fork and went on a morning trail ride on horseback, then cleaned ourselves up real nice; i was in a white dress with a bouquet made of fall leaves and he was in a simple suit without a jacket. my dad walked me down the aisle (aka the cabins back porch) where sweet alex was waiting with both of our immediate families. I still remember the crazy surge of adrenaline and barely being able to see alex’s confident grin through the squints of my eyes because I was smiling so big. after alex and i walked back down the porch together (followed by [our only dog at the time] Hadley, of course), we drank champagne and ate cake with our families and it was honestly the most perfect day for us. working in the wedding industry put a lot of pressure on me to create the “perfect wedding” but it turns out being with each other and our families and our dog was everything we needed and four years later, that is still abundantly enough. love you, al.
