Ici à, ANCENIS ou nous construisons 7 maisons neuves BBC en Bio brique nous avons dessiné le projet afin de conserver ces cèdres quadragénaires! Nous construisons en zone urbaine, lorsque nous devons couper un arbre pour y implanter une maison nous nous engageons à en planter 2 pour chaque arbre coupé sur notre terrain de 2,5 hectares à Anetz. Tous à notre petite échelle nous avons notre rôle à jouer. Chantier en cours pour une livraison fin 2019, merci aux investisseurs qui nous font confiance. Herman J. Russell (1930 - 2014)
In honor of Dr. King I thought it only fitting to share about the iconic real estate/business leader and friend of Dr. King, Mr. H.J. Russell. I can not begin to sum up his accomplishments and their impact on the black community, specifically in Atlanta, in just a few lines. Instead I'll share a moment from his life that embodies my personal vision and goals for myself and my family in real estate.
Herman J. Russell was a visionary. The son of a plasterer and small business owner, he learned early the value of hard work, but looking at the sum of his life I believe he also learned early the value of ownership and most importantly the value of real estate ownership. As a sophomore in high school Mr. Russell purchased his first lot of land. Working with his brother, they built a duplex on that land which H.J. leveraged to pay for his education at Tuskegee University in Alabama. H.J. Russell would go on to build the largest minority business enterprise real estate firm in the United States. 🏠🏚🏠🏚🏠🏚🏠🏚🏠🏚🏠🏚
Bankrolling much of the civil rights movement here in Atlanta and working with white owned construction and development companies during a time when we weren't even allowed to sit at lunch counters as paying customers....H.J. Russell had a vision. One that inspires me and my own pursuits to this day.
With H.J. Russell's legacy flowing through the veins of my city, I meditate today on these words from Dr. King, "If I cannot do great things, I can do small things in a great way."

I got to visit this beautiful city 3 years ago and fell in love. Visiting Martin Luther Kings home where he was born, the church he preached at and his eternal resting place. Not enough could be said on the impact he’s had for society as a whole. #mlkweekend#mlk
