When dealing with Titanium things get quite different. This material requires its own time. Especially when talking about welding. Here preparation, cleanliness and class A equipment are crucial and drawing a very thin line between excellence or complete scrap.
Its process requires your full attention and drawing you deeper with every step of the process into its smallest details. But this is where creativity lives...
This is how these days, while we were preparing and fine tuning the welding process, we came across some very interesting idea of how to upgrade the process that will bring the welding quality of Titanium onto a whole new level.
Final setup will be combined with these class A welding cups provided from @mfurick and some of our own magic.
We started with these video recordings where we put FUPA12 cups to the free-flow test, monitoring the flow and visualizing the gas stream.

Super impressed with the @shapertools Origin. As many folks have said, the usability is a differentiator. I went from design to cut in less than an hour on my first use. (After watching the videos.) I find most tech gratuitous, but this is a keeper. #prototyping#ucdavisdesign
