100 follower ADOPT RAFFLE
Ok so I wanted to do something for 100 followers but it’s a little late for that but who cares, I put a lot of effort into these (like posture color and identifying appearances) so it gives them more character and they’re ready for a home
1. You must be a current follower
2. All of this is in the comments so no need for a repost
3.in your comment when raffling tag two people you might think will like this (so this can be a bigger raffle)
4. After you tag two people pick one of the numbers that is next to the adopt you want (you can only pick ONE)
5. Once you commented the number you want and two tag peeps I will give you three raffle numbers
6.then you’re all set the RAFFLE WILL END ON THE 25 of August
7. Have note that there will be one winner for each adopt (so five people win what they want)

A little mermaid having a soak ✨🌱 (vaguely inspired by Leia from Harvest Moon lol) ✨ @procreate
Happy Friday, friend! If you are a ProCreate user (the drawing app on the iPad Pro), then you may be familiar with this awesome video recording feature on the app that records your process for every artwork that you create. How fun is this?! .
I’m a mama of a 14-month old toddler, Wesley, and he’s been a big inspiration for my design and illustration work recently. Here is the process sketch of what will soon be a greeting card coming to my shop! 🦒🦓 PS - can you spy the crocodile that makes a super quick appearance? 😂
I'm having so much fun playing with the #Procreate drawing app! The first day did not go well – I was getting a weird lag that made it look like I was dragging a string around, and the colors were all too light. Day 2 I finally found out how to adjust the pressure settings and that fixed both issues (I press pretty lightly). The Bokeh brush reminded me of bubbles, so I ended up drawing a #mermaid, and learned a lot along the way!
Just wanted to make a small appreciation post for my bitch, i mean, bf, cuz yesterday I legit had the worst stomach virus of my life LOL. I am normally not the type to rely on people, but while I took a nap to recover, I woke up to a surprise of him leaving work early to come back and watch over me. So although I got absolutely nothing done yesterday— it at least gave me a reason to draw something today ❤️❤️🖕🏻❤️
🍌 Doodles for a new Pin design coming very soon to add to my Fruity Collection hehehe 🤣🙌🏻

Hopefully you all had a good week! Here’s another little tutorial to keep you entertained this weekend, in case you are out with your phone but not your iPad 😝 This is my way of relaxing after a busy week, I love trying out all the different color combos and patterns 😄
Here are the steps for you to try for yourself:
1️⃣ Open up one of the Initials template canvases
2️⃣ Paint over the top of the letter outline. I’m using the default Procreate Cloud brush here. Using different colors is nice because they blend nicely when using this brush.
3️⃣ Duplicate the layer a few times and then merge it into 1 layer. I do this to intensify the colors - it’s entirely optional!
4️⃣ Tap the layer thumbnail of your filled letter and choose ‘Select’
5️⃣ Tap the layer thumbnail of your color fill and choose ‘Mask’
6️⃣ Unselect the mask and create a new layer
7️⃣ Paint some random dots, you don’t want too many
8️⃣ Select Motion Blur from the adjustment menu and blur the dots to create the stripey texture. Try different directions!
9️⃣ Just for fun I painted a little shadow with the soft airbrush ☺️.
If you like this tutorial - you might also like to learn many more colouring techniques in my iPad Bootcamp - have a look on the recommended courses page on my website!

The world lost a legendary artist today, but left us with a legacy that will never be forgotten.
RIP Aretha Franklin.
