Celebrations often revolve around food and can be a hard thing to separate without entirely avoiding it. My advice is simple - DON'T AVOID IT!
This time comes once a year, and if there is cake or a crispy roast vege on the table you are liking the look of - take it!
Remember that one meal, one day, one week, out of a whole year and your entire life does not mean the end of you or that you are a failure.
On another note, don't place pressure on yourself to eat exactly what others around you are. If you need to eat when others aren't, or eat something different, or bring your own food, or need to be seated away from the serving area then do it!
At the end of the day, don't make this time of year all about the food ❌✖ but rather about the quality time you spend with those around you and the true meaning of the season 👨👨👧👧👨👩👧👧👩👩👧👧

Plain and simple—people who succeed are goal oriented and have a vision. They turn vision into action.
Setting goals is bringing the future into the present so that you can take action NOW. Goals clarify expectations and ultimately bring confidence as you continue to see yourself perform better.

When I write my goals down, I have something to see and to envision. My motivation depends largely on my goal setting. I even bought a legittttt, new planner to write them down in 😎 @erincondren. And lately, I’ve become more focused on visualizing them—making them real, vivid living goals. (But we’ll save visualization for another time 😉 )
Some basic principles of goal setting:
1) Develop performance goals as well as outcome goals. Performance is something you can control. So give quality performance—the outcome will take care of itself
2) Be realistic. This is key. Your goals should be enough to excite you, but not so high that you cannot envision them
3) Set daily and short-term goals, which will ultimately lead to achieving long-term goals
The magic begins when you set goals. Oh and while you’re at it—don’t forget to BELIEVE IN YOURSELF
Do you write your goals down—daily, weekly, monthly? All the above?! Well start making a list (and checking it twice 😄🎅🏻) Put your dreams into action and turn them into a reality.
