The boy and I have officially found our new go-to restaurant in the DMV. @true_food_kitchen has a menu that is designed to be anti-inflammatory and like half the menu is actually vegan! Usually when I go to a restaurant, I have one option but not at True Food. And, based on our two visits in three days, everything I’ve tried is 10/10. The cocktails are amazing and so is the food. However, the Matcha Horchata is probably my favorite thing I’ve ever had. Going to try to recreate the recipe at home. True Food is also actually a chain, so check and see if there’s one near you!

One of my GOALS for the longest time has been to learn YOGA! ⠀
But, I was always too scared to take a class because I’m not that flexible and the thought of embarrassing myself makes me anxious! ⠀
Since I’ve been working on shutting up my inner mean girl and not letting the opinions of others get to me I decided to order yoga blocks and straps to help me, until I feel comfortable going to a class.⠀
What makes this even better is that on a SNOWY DAY like today I can take a YOGA class from the comfort of my home at whatever level I am thanks to the Netflix of workouts!! So, not only am I still accomplishing my goals, I LITERALLY HAVE NO EXCUSES to NOT press play!! ⠀

I decided enough was enough!
We workout hard. We eat right. We are doing everything right, but we can’t lose that unwanted weight that we have put on over the past years. .
Well, sometimes we think we are doing it all right because we hear this and that and think that is what we are supposed to do, but there is no one size fits all workout and meal plan.
We need to spend some time getting to know ourselves and how our bodies react to certain foods and workouts. If this works for me, it may or may not work for you. And that is okay!
I’m going to spending some time working with ladies who really want to focus on their food and workout plans. We are going to look at everything in a new and different way. We are going to find the foods that properly fuel our bodies giving us the energy we need to get us through our workouts and give you the energy to get you through your daily activities. .

This live ball drill which we practice in our routine training sessions during specific preparation season.
Under our THP program, we work on goals categorise under the 4 main components which are technic, tactics, physical and mental.
It doesn’t matter what the drills are and different goals can be set with the same drills.
In this particular live ball drill we try to emphasize on court coverage, movement,balance and tempo. As most goals are correlated it is important be specific on what goals to emphasize on depending on the need of individual players.

Escribe tus buenos días, tus malas rutinas. Deshazte de todo aquello que te pesa, libérate y conócete en cada palabra, entre letras. Analiza cada pensamiento y déjalo fluir, decide si se tiene que quedar o simplemente es mejor dejarlo volar. Escribe con fuerza, saca fuera todo lo que llevas dentro, siente que ya no pesa, que ya no te ata, que ya no te atormenta.
Empodérate en cada sílaba, dale sentido a cada estrofa, tu sentido, y coge energía en cada línea. Escribe en positivo aunque te cueste y llénate de todo aquello bueno que aún no has sentido, pero que forma parte de ti también.
