This week we’ve been talking about cars, trucks, bicycles, and motorcycles. We practiced scissor skills by cutting out a couple pictures of motorcycles E coloured in and I was quite impressed! We pasted these onto a page and added an M sticker for motorcycles. We also created a bicycle picture using sticks, paper, and a straw. Finally, we talked about the letter C got car and how it has two very different sounds. We practiced C in ASL and had a fun time driving our paper car around the letter C road before pasting it in place. We also read and acted out the poem “A Bicycle Built for Two” with some popsicle stick puppets. Puppets always intrigue E. I tacked the poem to the wall and taped an envelope with the puppets on the wall beneath it and I’ve found her acting out the poem a few times since we read it. #languagelearning#cars#bicycle#motorcycle#scissorskills#letterrecognition#phonetics#toddleractivity#learningathome#alphabet#poetry#bicyclebuiltfortwo#popsiclesticks#puppets
8 popsicle stick dollhouse furniture pieces. Any favourites or suggestions?
The dollhouse furniture pieces are made of regular sized popsicle sticks and glues together with a hot glue gun. Wood glue is used in some places to strengthen the bonds. These include a cot, bunk bed, chair, cupboard, stove, bed, picnic table and bench. They would work well for dolls up to the size of a barbie and can be used in dollhouses or even scaled models.
On my Youtube channel I show how I build each one. Check it out. #linkinbio
Popsicle stick bridge. This is a little bridge I made that would be perfect for fairy garden projects, a dollhouse, scaled models or landscape models. For more like this, check out on the Curious Crafter YouTube. There is a link in my bio.
Popsicle stick beach lounger. Perfect for Barbie beach day 😜. This is a little lounger I made that could be used for dollhouses or other scaled models. If you want to see the DIY video which includes other similar furniture and structre pieces, check it out on my YouTube channel through the link in my bio.
