Yesterday was my last day for #30daychallenge drawing surroundings, but since I didnt post a surrounding then I do it today. So happy I made it 😊
Now I am free to draw what I want! But I like to give myself frames and boundaries. I think they give the thought a little bit of resistance, something to take off from, something to wrestle with and that in some ways makes the creativity stronger. When somebody defines where the limit is I always start to think about how to respect the limit but in the same time move by it in an unexpected way. I dont know why I am that way, maybe it is a general human thing?
So now I am thinking of a new challenge. Maybe drawing people doing half unexpected things? since I see a lot of drawings of women on Insta I think about maybe doing my version of these paintings but with men instead? But I dont know #botanicaldrawing#natureart#penciltree#polychromos

This summer in Sweden has been extremely warm and I think about environment and the future of our kids more than ever. I know that one warm summer is just one warm summer and that you have to see the trend in different places and over time to understand what is really happening but I also know that the trend is warmer and warmer climate, a melting north pole and also that the trend is that few of us (who can) want to change our lifestyle. This summer the farmers in Sweden are sending their cattle to slaughter because they can not feed them. If this was a summer a century or two ago when we didnt rely on buying food from other countries we would right now be facing a future starvation. We need to change how we take care of this earth #savemefrommyself#polychromos#drawachild
