Today’s W9W5 #roadtokona2020 was a run with my @dsgymplayablanca Running Club. I had debated all day whether I’d run as planned as I was feeling tightness in my lower back and right hip from yesterday’s gym based Duathlon and from being tighter in my muscles than I need to be. I decided last minute I’d do it but just do it at the slowest pace being done. Aerobically it was very comfortable but it was a bit uncomfortable in the back and hip- not terrible but annoying. Felt glad at end that I did do it and we did a good after aswell and later I did some more stretching and foam rolling. Amazingly I’m still suffering severe DOMS from Tuesday’s much adjusted weights session. Just shows how no matter how trained your body is any change impacts it. That’s another day down.
We're happy to contribute to the @ride.84 the group as it continues to grow. Gathering more and more cyclists every Saturday.
Make sure to join them this weeked for a fun ride and now with SAG support 💪🏼 #Repost@ride.84

INSPIRE: What’s the craziest project you’ve ever taken on?! For me, it was coaching these two for their first ever triathlon aka @ironmantri Santa Rosa in THIRTY FIVE days. .
While both were very athletic, neither of them had ever done a triathlon before. Like. Ever. Everyone told me there’s no way, they’ll never finish, you’re absolutely crazy for doing it. What the heck are you (they) thinking?! . . .
I never doubted them. NOT ONE TIME. they had such energy and excitement from our first conversation that I knew they would succeed. I believed in my coaching, my crazy 35 day training program, and most of all in them. 🏊♂️🚵🏻♂️🏃♂️
Find a coach that believes in you 100%, believe in yourself, put in the work and have faith that it will all work out like it’s supposed to. E, in blue finished just before me, J in red had his day end early, but he gave it everything he had and will succeed at crossing that red carpet one day. #fuelinspiretrain
Everyone think their class/team is the best. So I do. Wednesday class(advance masters), we respect each other even we’re in different level. I never feel like faster swimmers in the class are looking down on me(=slower swimmer). We’re cheering up each other when coach gives us tough sets/drills:-). Yes, we’re a really good company😁 Thanks coach and teammates🏊♀️🏊♂️.
