We don’t usually quote ourselves, but I thought this one from Meghan was so good.
We talked about the morning routines you read about online, and how we dislike the narrative that if you don’t wake up at 5 am, you’re not committed enough. Get the work done, but also rest - we love balance.
We also talked about our favourite research and note-taking tools (analog and digital). Check it out and let us know what you think!

If you're looking for a group, you need to show both initiative and commitment. Most of the groups I'm in, I see players put in minimal effort to find a group, often being "Hi, I'm looking to join a group for D&D!" only for me to scroll down and see open spots a few posts below.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here's a few tips that will hopefully give you a better chance of finding a game.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
*Learn how to play - Youtube, free guides, Podcasts all teach how to play. It lets you join existing games instead of new start games.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
*Join Adventurer's League - get out there in the community, many public games have private games linked to them, if they like you, people will invite you.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
*Make it easy to say yes - the more barriers you put in the way, the more likely they'll say no. Make sure your post tells people when you'd like to play and what area you're in.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
*Read the other posts - If you don't even try, it doesn't show the commitment needed to be part of a home game.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
*Show commitment - follow your local groups, and answer messages/posts when they ask. Often the first to answer, gets the spot.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Any good tips I've missed?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Our society has changed so much in the last 70 years but our educational system has not. The way our children are taught can date back decades. If we want to move forward as a society and country our educational system has to change; and that is where Garrett Wilhelm comes in. @wilhelmgarrett is the executive director of @commongroundchildcarecenter in Reston, Virginia. This childcare facility/academy is releasing the ego from the learning process and making the education experience more personal and meaningful. Tune in today to hear how putting the child first and looking past “just taking tests” as a measurement of excellence is way over due. We know you’re going to love @wilhelmgarrett !
