@serialphotog led the way by headlamp through thickets of rhodos so that we could make it to this waterfall before sunrise. As we sat around waiting for the light to improve I decided to goof off and took this selfie. What an awesome little area.
~ As the sets roll in ~ It’s good to be home by the sea! After being away there’s always comfort in coming back to that familiar happy place. Mornings and evenings have been spent here, capturing what I love about it, and playing around with these long exposure shots, I’ve become a little obsessed with them to be honest! There’s patience in waiting for the right moment, like a cloud, a wave, or colour in the sky. I love that each one has different texture and movement.
This weekend I’m taking part in an ocean photography workshop with @vagabondphotographic to learn from the legendary @russellordphoto and @warrenkeelan who is the master of these ocean shots and a huge inspiration! Can’t wait to share what I learn with you!
The sun sets in the opposite direction of these Boathouses, but on this afternoon the sunset colour stretched around to frame this awesome Boathouse 🛶
