Day 232 of 300: Burge Trumpet Concerto - III Mvt -
Hours spent practicing: 1.5
Hours playing: 3
Cumulative hours total today: 4.5
Hours since December 21 2018: 35
I took a look at the Burge concerto tonight. Hoping to still play this at my show this spring 😊 it’s been a little while since I’ve played it and it’s getting a little rusty. I was able to snatch a practice room in HLH but there were no free music stands available so I used the piano ledge instead.
I worked on the wind ensemble music as well as a few of the jazz pieces. We received a new piece of repertoire, the Fisher Tull Angels in the architecture... I remember playing this a few years back with Wind ensemble, it’s really great!
I’m super talented and managed to fall down half a flight of stairs this morning and only got away with skidded, badly bruised knees. Nothing is broken thank God. I nearly flipped upside down and was able to help the fall with just barely grabbing into the railing. My backpack saved me.
I stayed at the choir rehearsal tonight and got to watch the preview of Carmina Burana. They are playing a show this weekend and I might not be able to make it as I’ve got a lot of work to catch up on. Great bunch!

My name is O'shea and I break all the odds! I have a rare genetic condition called Osteogenesis Imperfecta type 2, which is usually lethal in most cases, yet here I am. I have been told by many drs. I wouldn't be able to do alot of things, but I just love proving them all wrong. I have such a resilience inside of me that its contagious! I make everyone smile all the time, and I also surprise them with my strength! Dont let anyone tell you, you can't do something, or that something is impossible! I’m proof, that miracles do happen, and way more than you think!
