Giving attention to every little corner of our home. 🌿 Wouldn’t a wicker arched bookshelf look super adorbs in the corner instead of that mirror? Can’t I find a woven plant stand to add more personality? ..it may very well happen. I ALWAYS want to get the job done ASAP Rocky. But Dillon has been teaching me to be content. Patience. Be humble, sit down. Be happy, don’t worry. I always want MORE, or if I have a vision of how our room will look like, or wanting a trendy outfit before everyone in the world has it... that will lead me into comparing myself to others, also not finding contentment. Instead of thinking of what I DON’T🙅🏻♀️have, I need to change my mindset of what I DO have💁🏻♀️- with that being said, every little corner of my life is thriving like a pothos hanging plant with enough water and just enough sunlight! ☀️ .
I’ve been so busy lately and have been pretty much living out of my suitcase. As much as I love being a busy body and always having plans, it feels so good to slow down for a minute and just chillll at home. Excited to make dinner tonight & plop right here on my couch 🛋

Realized that I had never seen my mom repot this fern. She had it for a kajillion years. And I've had it for like 3. He was so sad. Super root bound, which I didn't even realize. Maybe now he will stop being the messiest plant in the freaking universe.
Repotted into a fancy larger pot and currently having a sink bath.
Pothos. 🌱 The one that started my plant obsession. I’ve owned several plants throughout the last decade. I remember being so exited to buy plants for our first apartment in 2008. Between 4 moves, a cross-country move, buying our first home and selling, and buying our second home, I always start again with pothos. I grew up with pothos hanging from my mother’s windows. She would hang the vines around the ceiling to wrap around the room. Today I have 2 that I purchased in 2014 and a small one that was gifted to me. They have been resurrected a few times so they are not as big as they should be or used to be but I’m happy to still have them. 🌱

A little #eucalyptus plant painting for you today! I’ve been working on decorating my new place, and our living room is plant themed (aka we have a lot of plants and a green couch, so it only made sense 😂) so I’ve been working on a few paintings for a gallery wall and this is one of them 🙌
