#SimpleThaiFood#leelapunyaratabandhu Duck Red Curry with Pineapple and Tomatoes. I haven’t worked with a lot of duck but this was fun. I purchased a frozen duck, roasted it, let it cool and then carved it up into bite sized slices. That was the difficult part, which was pretty easy. The next part was trying to determine what a good balance of red curry would be for my family. History has taught me that using about half the red curry paste should be close to what family can handle. The good news is that they loved this dish. They were aware of the heat but by no means was it overpowering. The most fascinating part of all this was using fish sauce for seasoning. It’s really a must and is very different than just using salt. @shesimmers@maeploy_kitchen#thaifood#duck#redcurry#pineapple#tomatoes#coconutmilk

For all my friends who love pineapples! 🍍 This photo popped up as a memory on my Facebook page. My friend Wendy had brunch at Nick and Johnnies in Palm Beach 🏝 and this was the centerpiece on her table.
Have any of you ever used a pineapple as a centerpiece for flowers? I love this classy idea! 💖🍍🌸
this one is a little tricky; but if you take a look at the verse referenced, you can see where my head is at. and there are more references in the bible about the principle of receiving what you put out.
when in the unfortunate situation that you're having to deal with someone who is doing you wrong, remember that God is taking note of it all. He just needs us to chill on the side a bit so He can take care of us and set things right.
God won't let anyone get over on you. if someone does you wrong, allow the Lord to set things straight and trust that He'll do so. the Lord is a GOOD God and doesn't want to see you be mistreated in the first place, but if it happens, He is ready to take care of you.
"for all who are mistreated, the Lord brings justice."

The boredom of extended fasting has officially set in. It’s Day 14 of our January Water fast and while I’m not hungry at all, I’m just lacking enthusiasm in general. I’m nowhere near a point of stopping my fast because physically I feel amazing, it’s that the mental/emotional aspects of fasting are really hard some days. I love cooking. I love meal times. I miss The whole process that food involves: grocery shopping, planning meals, cooking, eating... I even miss cleaning up! Today to help fight the ‘Feelings’, I am playing around with my camera and this cool pineapple cocktail shaker I’ve been pushing around my food photography prop cabinet. This photo makes me feel better ❤️ #darkandmoody#pineapple#photography#waterfasting#fasting#boredom#extendedwaterfast#sonya7rii#55mmf18za#photooftheday#blogger#creative
