Humility, Humor & Kindness. Isiah, who joined Success in 2018 as a Residental Counselor has these characteristics covered. And they sure do come in handy when working with individuals in the #tbi community. The road to recovery is a long and hard process. Some days are better than others.
But nothing worthwhile comes easy, and the feeling of helping someone overcome their obstacles to reach a milestone is pretty special.
We're fortunate to have Isiah on the team. His personality brightens our clients day and laughter is an excellent remedy in the healing process. 💫🙏 #mondaymorning#mondaythoughts

"Pursue Growth & Learning" is one of the most important core values of our company, and we take great pride in empowering our team members to utilize the internal and external resources that are made available to them.
We also believe in providing the opportunity for them to use that knowledge for career development. Our leaders greatly emphasize internal promotion practices. After all, Culture is King, and we reward our team members for invoking positive change in the lives of our clients.
These beliefs lead to our decision to increase the starting wage of all our Direct Care Professionals to $14/hr.
This wage increase is a positive change. But what has not changed is the opportunity for our team members to grow their careers well beyond this wage increase. It's not where you start or even what happens to you along the way that's important. What is important is that you persevere and continue to develop yourself as a person and professional. Here are two of our many examples:
Carol Heverly and Stacy Sharrock both started with Success a little less than two decades ago as Direct Care Professionals. Throughout their time with Success, they have worked hard to develop their expertise as Certified Brain Injury Specialists and have inspired countless numbers of clients, families, and colleagues with their supportive, warm and caring personalities.
Their determination set them apart, and today they thrive as Case Managers! What brings them together is their purpose for working at Success. Our clients. “The best part of working at Success the clients. Each one has their own personality and unique characteristics. Watching them grow, progress independently within the community to enhance their quality of life is rewarding. The best feeling is observing them reach their achievement or goal and embrace it with a smile because they know they achieved it!” - Carol Heverly, Case Manager “I enjoy the positive team atmosphere of Success, working as a team with a client assisting them to be the best they can be and achieve their goals to the fullest.” Stacy Sharrock, Case Manager
Carol & Stacy - thank you for setting the example for Success💫⭐️❤️

For everyone out there seeking new positions in 2019, I wanted to offer 2 words of advice:
1. KNOW YOUR RESUME: So many people spend all of their energy reading through job descriptions line by line, trying to find as much commonality as they can, concerning the job they’re applying to. Many times, they forget to know (and master) THEIR resume inside & out. Study YOUR resume! It can, and will, kill an interview if you’re not able to explain (or articulate) something on your resume, simply because you overstated your experience, embellished, or simply forgot! Remember, the company called you in for an interview for a reason, and who knows what that reason was, but it was something on your resume that prompted it! One never knows what the hook was to initiate a conversation, so be ready to explain anything & everything on that document.
2. SELL & MARKET YOURSELF: Everyone wants to be sold a little, whether it’s to pursue a relationship, buy a product or service, or capture a job. Don’t be naive enough to think your experience or job history speaks for itself. Couldn’t be further from the truth. Package it up & sell it, well!, so that YOU become the most attractive person that hiring manager has seen all year! Turn negatives into positives. Don’t just end something with “Nope, haven’t done that or use that.“ Instead, say “ You know, I’ve never used that particular technology or tool, but it reminds me a lot of XYZ and I picked that up in a matter of days.” Creativity and strong communication skills are some of the most coveted skills out there right now. Don’t be silly and think the resume speaks for itself!
Good luck and sell, sell, sell! Feel free to email me at [email protected] for any resume & interview tips. #alwayson#triplescreenstaffing#sellsellsell#marketyourself#resume#interview#interviewtips#phillyjobs#win#philadelphia#jobsearch#philly

“In 2019, there’s a lot to smile about when you work at Success. Like our decision to increase the minimum base compensation for Direct Care Professionals to $14/hr. Well above average industry standards. 😊
When making this change, we listened to our team, thought hard about what we wanted to do, and decided to be the leader in this area amongst our community. Along with our benefits, this change supports the quality of our Direct Care Professionals and the critical role they play in support of our client's rehabilitation programs. -
So, will you make 2019 your year of change? We are growing, and our recruiting team is aggressively hiring and training Direct Care Professionals. -
We are looking for talented and passionate people with some human services experience to join the Success team.” Padraig Tangney - Chief Operating Officer
