Loosing your furry soulmate is devastating! On many occasions I’ve heard from the owners: “I just want to know that he/she is happy,”. Well, the pets who crossed the rainbow reassure the owners that they are happy, healthy, and still love them too; they even ask to stop being sad because the sadness and grief (sometimes guilt is involved as well) block to feel their presence, which the owners desire so desperately!
There is a solution!!! PetTalk can help to release grief, pain, sadness, guilt of losing the beloved one! It's done through the Emotional Freedom Technique.
Keep your happy memories of been together, reconnect with your soulmates in heaven, be happy again, because this is what our pets want for us!
From many conversations, I learned that they want us to be happy, even if they are not present in flesh anymore.
Give them and yourself the gift of happiness!

2019: Connecting and Change
"I have failed you"
That is a phrase none of us want to hear or say, but yet you need to hear or say those words in order to embark on the change you need.
Some people have a word they like to embrace for a new year. I like phrases and sentences that explain the why behind those words.
Why have I failed you? Because I have changed so much since Instagram was established and I have failed to really understand the power behind an engaging community and what my IG account was about.
Instagram came along and this visual platform through me for a loop. Y'all, I am not a photographer with pretty pictures. I am a busy mom and stay in my kitchen cooking more than I go out. I dream about travel more than my family does in this stage of life. I struggle to do it all well.
I did not grow up with social media. In my TV days, a person may have stopped me in a grocery store to say hi and that was it. I understand the role of media, but failed with the social word. Algorithms don't help that either
I was broadcasting to you and not connecting. I am making that change now and going through my follow list to follow more.
I just turned 50. I feel like I finally know who I am and what my website is about. I finally found my voice and am no longer afraid to use it. Last night, I was in a local brewery which is next door to my daughter's gym and spoke to people around me. A man around my age asked to sit with me. I was a little taken aback, but I said yes. We talked about the local area, beers, pets, children, his divorce and my marriage. I thought that was fun and I should have my online conversations to be as an extension of my in-person life. I am ready for that change.
I want to find and support people who dream about travel, like good food, are aging, struggles as a parent, are busy, likes wine, tea, coffee, homes, craft beer, likes nice hotels, pets, wants to age gracefully, likes to laugh.
I may lose some of you because of my changing. I am sorry I did not get to know you like I should. For those who stay , are you ready to connect & change? 📷 @turnkeyphotographyraleigh

So I just read this great article on KUTV.com about Vivint.
It goes on to say that “@Forbes named Vivint Smart Home one of “America's Best Employers for Diversity” in 2019. This list recognizes 500 companies across all industries that demonstrate a dedication to diversity and an outstanding work culture.” I’m glad that I have service with such a reputable company.

One of my favorite quotes!! I use to feel lost
I use to feel confused
I took a semester off during college
I had to retake a course
I did my internship for cardiac rehab, even though my passion was fitness, just "to be safe"
But really it was because that seemed to be the more professional career choice
I wandered for many years... It wasn't until I pushed the social norms Aside and thought what it was that made me happy;
What it was that brought me fulfillment and joy;
What it was I was proud to do
And what it was I could make the most impact that I truly stopped wandering lost
And began to wander with purpose
You may feel lost or like you don't fit in because your dreams are something your family or close friends don't understand
But that doesn't mean YOU are lost
You just need to be told your dreams are worth chasing
If they are truly your friends they will support you
If not, you will find true friends that do as you pursue your dream
Your family may not understand but they will love you anyway
It's ok if you don't fit in a cookie cutter mold that is "safe"
All the big named people who made a new product or took a risk to get us the technology and things we have today knew they didn't fit in a cookie cutter mold either
I don't know about you, but I was exhausted when I was wandering lost and confused
But wandering with purpose and fulfillment is much more enjoyable
Having an animal is not a right, it’s a privilege. Please always remember that ❤️
Before you think about owning an animal really take into consideration all the components that it will need. Adequate nutrition, appropriate housing, enrichment, and veterinary care are just a few to list. Believe it or not, caring for an animal is not cheap and it shouldn’t be. These are LIVING BEINGS. Just because they’re animals does not mean they are exempt from needing a lot of the same things humans do, especially medical care. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This brings up a point I’ve always wanted to discuss. Your “money hungry” veterinarian . If I had a $1 for every time someone commented on veterinarians just trying to make a buck, I’d be able to pay off my $150k+ of student loans. Majority of people that enter this profession do not do it for the money. We do it because we care, we’re passionate and we want what’s best for your animal. We are often expected to diagnose an animal at the drop of a hat without having to charge much $. Unfortunately, that is unrealistic. There is not a one size fits all approach to veterinary medicine and animals can’t exactly verbalize what’s going on 🤷🏻♀️.So yes, we must do tests (not because we want your $), we might not know the answers at times (that does not mean we are incompetent), but we will always do what we can to help your animal through any situation. Trust your veterinary staff and know that we did not go through 8+ years of schooling just to rip you off. We sought out this profession because we love it. ❤️
