So I failed at today’s #marchmeetthemaker as I couldn’t manage to get photo of my hands working away. I’m currently lying on my bed wishing I could join all the babies who are actually asleep but I’ve got a hoop to finish, a design to sketch and I need to update Etsy.
Every work from home mama knows these are prime time working hours but I wish I could tell my drooping eyelids that. I’m creeping up to the big 500 as well and your support so far has blown me away. I’d LOVE to hit it this weekend and would love you forever if you shared the love and shared our page.
These hoops will be going up in the shop update along with the hoop I’ll be finishing tonight. Are you excited? I’m excited! #robinandbloom#robinandbloomembroidery#supportsmallbusinesses#shopsmall
A super cute sign for a very special flower girl to walk down the aisle with today! Congratulations to Kim and Paul who got married at The Parsonage Country House Hotel earlier! Wishing you all an amazing day! 💕
I’m going to be a little quiet this weekend, but I will still have some scheduled posts.. We are packing ready for our move as well as completing and sending out your orders 😘
All orders can be placed via the website, if you do need to contact me just leave me a message/email and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
Have a lovely weekend 💕
Guys... it’s truth time with Kirsty again. I feel like this should be a hashtag or something, I do it so regularly 😂 a few days ago I was just coming out of a really dark couple of weeks. I had a lot on my mind, most of it depression talking but still things I just couldn’t ignore. I was close to going back to my old ways of ‘coping’ and it just wasn’t good. But I got over that and started feeling so much better.
Then everything hit. It’s like life saw me looking up and feeling myself and thought hahaha, nope! The past week/two weeks have a been rough felt my family. My nan’s house actually flooded 2 weeks ago. Destroying most of her house. She’s had to move out, she’s got to decorate everything and buy the majority of her things in again. It’s a lot for an 84-year-old to deal with. So much so she had to be rushed into hospital a few days ago. Thank you fully she’s doing okay now but it doesn’t stop the worrying you know? Then yesterday I woke up to find out that my great nan has passed away. So it’s not been a good time. .
I’m trying though. I’m fighting so hard. All of these things are just being added to the things I’ve gotten through. The things I fought through. And in the future, when the depression isn’t attacking as much and life is mostly good, I can look back and be proud of how strong I was. I’m sorry this post is kinda selfish. I just wanted to let you know what was going on. Why I may be posting infrequently, why I may be posting loads, idk. .
If you’re going through hard times too, just know that one day. When it’s all brown over and life is good again, you’ll look back full of pride for what you overcame. You will be so proud that you made it through everything and so excited for what you can overcome in the future. I’m here if anyone needs to talk. Just DM me! .
