When you’re in a career that doesn’t align with your soul’s purpose, you risk showing up as a lesser version of yourself. You put on an armour to protect yourself, you do what you can to get through and crash onto your sofa & binge on Netflix when you get home! But it doesn’t *have* to be like this. Here are 3 tricks to help you find more happiness in your job: 💛
1. Go for a short walk. The movement, sunshine and fresh air will revitalise you and release any stress. A walking buddy is a bonus @alana_claridge 🚶♀️ 2. Eat lunch away from your desk. Actually enjoy the yummy, nutritious food you’re eating and chat to work friends about non-work stuff 🥗
3. Mix up your schedule. This is a BIG one! If you can; work hours that suit you, work from a different location or better yet, work from home! 🏡 Put on your favourite comfy jumper, your favourite tunes, brew your favourite herbal tea and settle in for a super productive day’s work...before 5.30pm yoga 🧘♀️ Whilst it might not be your soul’s work, when you make a conscious choice to find pockets of happiness in your day job, you become happier. You find renewed energy to work on the things that truly bring your soul happiness, which hopefully, will one day become your career. Do you have any other top tips for finding happiness at work?

I’M GETTING BIGGER.
And by bigger, I mean energetically so.
And every single time this happens I collapse before I expand.

Na een paar goede dagen kwam vandaag helaas de terugslag. In de stoel bij de psycholoog brak ik. En zo ziet het eruit als je ineens heel bang bent dat het nooit meer goedkomt. Waarom deel ik dit op deze verder zo prachtige zonovergoten dag? Omdat dit het gezicht is dat zich al zo lang als ik me kan herinneren binnen in mij schuilhoudt. De meeste mensen kennen mij als een opgewekt en goedlachs persoon. Ik was altijd druk bezig met vrolijk doen om mijn andere gezicht verborgen te houden voor anderen. En dat 'druk bezig met...' zegt al genoeg. Het was een façade en het kostte me enorm veel energie. Ik zie het als een stap in de goede richting dat ik dit nu inzie. Het heeft allemaal te maken met zelfacceptatie (ja ik weet t, vreselijk woord maar helaas toch echt wat ik bedoel ;)), en dus mag iedereen het weten. Dit ben ik ook. En dat is oké I guess.
"Have you ever thought about being a model?" My boyfriend asked me this the other day and I was shortly in shock.
Let's be clear here: I have thought about it. I like my body and the way it looks, I love my lips, my eyes and my very nice curves.
So I told him that I wouldn't particularly want to work in the model industry but I would love it if any girl or women would look at a picture of me and say: "If she can wear it, so can I." We are so trained by what we perceive as beautiful by what we see in the media and in our feeds. I'd gladly disrupt that with sharing pictures of my body and what I perceive as beautiful.
Because beauty is not just what our society perceives as beautiful. What is beautiful is ultimately your decision.
In preparation for my women's circle, I'm going to challenge myself. Every day I'll upload a picture of myself - for the next 30 days.
Full body, portrait or just a silhouette - can be anything. I'm excited for how it will feel and how it will change my perception of myself and even more so the relationship with my body.
But even more so I'm excited about the way it can potentially influence my followers - to embrace their bodies, to love them the way they are and to discover a new form of beauty.

This is one of the biggest epiphanies I’ve had in regards to what I share on YouTube. It involves understanding the “importance” we give to things in life and how it relates to “desire.” In the traditional teachings of LOA we learn that desire is necessary and essential in the process. This is only true if that desire is transferred into either intention or action. Desire can be a motivator but for many people it remains just a thought in the head. Dissipate that desire with action and intention and that will help the process. Now let’s talk about importance. Anything made very important is put on a pedestal. Think about it, if you ever really really wanted something most likely resistance was created that ended up decreasing your state of being and therefore not allowing you to perceive of opportunities that could change your life. Focusing on what we want is powerful, making intentions is even more powerful and increasing your state of being is the most powerful of all. This is where we may have heard “ it’s the not the words you say but the energy underneath it.” The energy underneath importance emphasizes lack and resistance. This is a new saying I’ve been coining. “When you lessen the degree of importance you increase the probability of experiencing it.” You gotta let go to let in. A true paradox. That’s how I wrote this post.. I was like “it’s not that important. Just me sharing my thoughts and as I did I was like damn this sounds pretty dope” haha anyways don’t take my word for it ... try it and see for yourself #decreaseimportance Much love! ✌️
