At THRIVE Ontario, we feel that it is important to recognize exceptional students! If you know a secondary school student in Ontario who has accomplished something cool, shown courage, stands out, has demonstrated leadership or has just generally been #thriving lately, DM us your nomination with an explanation. We will be posting a student spotlight soon and the student you nominate could be the focus! Nominations are due May 28th, 2019.
Watch the full YouTube video. (link in bio) Despite what Wendy thinks, I believe I can turn $1,500 into $40,000 by 4/22/20. I had my first green week of my challenge:
Bought 250 NBY at $0.75 (9:49)
Sold 250 NBY at $0.82 (12:05)
5/15 bought 20 PDSB @$8.74 (12:18)
5/16 sold 20 PDSB $7.83 (6:33)
5/16 (morning buy)
Bought 140 OTLK @$1.30 (7:17)
Sold 140 OTLK @$1.44 (9:51)
4th WEEK +10%
Even though I had a green week, my balance went down because I am only betting 20% of my account on each trade and I didn’t get over the commission fees. If I can have a green month, averaging about 10% each week without a big loss, greater than 10%, then I will start to go all-in on day-trades.
My trade on NBY was alright. At first I thought the stock should test the 1 dollar level. I sold once it looked like it was topping around 82 cents. My trade on PDSB was bad. I shouldn’t have bought it because it already did a triple-top around $9.25 and the volume in the morning was a lot higher than it was in the afternoon. Plus I bought close to resistance. ➖
My last trade on OTLK was good, even though it looks like I sold way too soon. I didn’t hold overnight because OTLK recently did a reverse-split and has diluted their shares. So I was afraid of a secondary offering. OTLK did not do an offering, and I missed out on a 100% gain. But I’m okay with that because I want to value the consistency of my 10-20% profits, which are far easier to predict than a 100% gain.
There are so many volunteer opportunities available for Ontario students to get those 40+ hours! Volunteering isn't hard but can really help students stand out on applications. Every student needs volunteer hours to graduate. Look online and you will find many volunteer opportunities that you can take! If you want us to help you find where you can help out in your community, send us a DM!
As usual; as soon as I bought OTLK the stock tanked but recovered postmarket and PDSB dropped even more. I’m still holding both 🤷🏾♂️ #Blessup 🙏🏾 *I don’t recommend either stock Bc they are very volatile.

Here’s a clip of Baba Yetu, a CPSS music department collaboration with CP Senior Strings, Percussion ensemble & Crescendo choir directed by M. Collings feat. Owen Lee on solo vocals (from Halifax via video). A big thanks to M. Maroney for the great music production work! #cpstrings#pdsb#centralpeel
My wife and I are so thankful to the teachers and administrators at Balmoral Drive PS for their leadership, in and out of the classroom.
It is because of all of you, our students are thriving. #PDSB
Taking trips to the Library in today's social media world is essential to our students development and understanding that books are still great resources and gateways to the world.

Look at this beautiful "garden" of flowers painted by some wonderful kindergarteners at a local school. How cute! We have some lucky moms out there!
I actually have tears of happiness pouring down my face as I write this post. YANA stands for You Are Not Alone and it is the Peel District School Board promise to all its LGBTQPLUS stakeholders. I’m bursting with PRIDE at the thought of my continued association with this board. On Twitter, the direction of education is photo bombing with people at the conference. This type of support is a dream come true ♥️💙💗💜💛💚🧡❤️ #yana#pdsb#pride
