Humpback whales are known for their magical songs, which travel for great distances through the world’s oceans. These sequences of moans, howls, cries, and other noises are quite complex and often continue for hours on end. Scientists are studying these sounds to decipher their meaning. It is most likely that humpbacks sing to communicate with others and to attract potential mates 🐋
Stroke of bad luck for @bealachbikes and I on our way to the Highlands:
An hour and a Half North of Glasgow, the cat stutters and the "engine management" light comes on... Second break down out of two trips... Maybe I'm the one cursed!
We wait for a tow truck, who accepts to take us onward to Inverness, to a registered garage. One hour in, we hit a pothole, and realise at Fort William that the wheel is too damaged. After an hour of trying to fix it, we transfer the car and ourselves to a second tow truck.
We finally got picked up at Inverness, and arrive in #Applecross two hours later, ten full hours after we'd left.
But now we're here! On for some watercolour and dog walks :)

I think the most beautiful thing about wanting to be single, is learning to love yourself again. I never liked my profile. I was always so critical of my face. How it moved. I would practice expressions in the mirror to try to hide any extra chins. Over the last couple months, that has all changed though. I'm proud of my body. Of myself. Of what we have both been through. I am learning to accept that my body will change, and that sometimes my mind will over think. I shouldn't hate myself for either, but I know I need to listen more to both.
We love adventures! Whilst I save up for more I'm currently reading the 'Twitchhiker', it's the story of one man trying to get to the other side of the world relying solely on the kindness of strangers on Twitter. No spoilers, I'm hoping he makes it.
10 days of extreme adventures is what awaits you in our South Africa trips this April. ———————————
From shark cage diving, to bungee jumping, skydiving, to swimming with penguins, and African Safari and more.

We live 2 streets away from the water and yet we do not visit as often as we would like. Sometimes I think about others who have never seen the shore. I sure hope they do one day. It's a different kind of happiness that nothing else can achieve. And if you're lucky, you'll come home with some sea glass finds as well 🌊
