Even though the title of this book sucks it was SO GOOD. This was the first Christina Lauren book I’ve read and the first book I gave 5 stars to in 2019. ✨
I’ve never really read adult romance before other than 50 Shades of Grey so this book was such a great intro into healthy adult romance. (Which may be my favorite genre now) It was a great book to read in the middle of a reading slump since I binge read it in a day.✨ This book was so steamy and cute and exciting all at the same time. I love Mia and Ansel and want 100 more books with them as the main characters. ✨
QOTP: What’s your favorite healthy romance? I need some more recommendations! ✨ •
Our #PassionProject : Genius Bar BKK 🧠
Thailand's first and only bone broth café.
@kkat.thongpeng and I are really excited to share that we'll be opening the doors to our very own broth spot at The 8 Thonglor Shopping Mall.
As you guys already know, nutrition and wellness have always been a passion of ours, so we thought; what better way to spread the love than to serve delicious and nourishing homemade broth, a food traditionally renowned for its amazing health benefits - in a cup!
Just like how your great grandma used to make it, but better 😀
There is no GROWTH without CHALLENGE.
I am not a talented snowboarder... to be honest, getting off the chair lifts gives me anxiety, and I might have a panic attack when the conditions aren’t perfect.
But here’s why I LOVE snowboarding.
It challenges me to get out of my own head and just COMMIT, it provides an opportunity for me to work on my mental toughness, and it has become one of my courage-building mechanisms.
The challenges this sport puts me through absolutely translate into other areas of my life.
When I conquer a day on the mountain, I am reminded that I can conquer challenges my relationships, my business, my workouts, and any other area of my life...
Here’s why this matters...I didn’t just start a business and create the life I’m able to live out of nowhere.
The courage to take the risk and go for it was built up over time by doing small things that scared me over and over again — LIKE SNOWBOARDING.
If you have some big dreams or goals you’d like to someday take a leap toward achieving, I encourage you to find an activity in your life that scares you a little bit, and do it as often as you can.
Watch how the acting despite the fear helps you become more and more confident over time. Build yourself up!
And when you start feeling more confident, you’ll feel more comfortable doing the scary things.
That is how you become BRAVE.
That’s how AMAZING things happen.
So... GET OUT THERE and challenge yourself, killa. I promise you it’s worth it.👊🏼

Friday’s are my most productive day of the week. Why, you might ask? Because Friday’s are #passionproject days. i’m #doingthings . i am super fortunate that my work schedule is 4-10s, so i get my 40 hours done Monday thru Thursday and use Friday to work on projects that fuel me. Like creating this little corner of the internet to be what I want it to be. Do you have a passion project?!

“She’s beautiful. But she’s blinded by her thoughts of perfection that she could barely see it” ✨
I bet you don’t tell your clients that they will be healthy after one day, do you?
So why do you expect to master your entire online presence in one day?
Just like you probably do with your patients/clients, first, you identify the root cause, and create a plan of action based off of that.
In case you need some help figuring out the root cause of why your social media isn’t “healthy”, here’s the main root cause I tend to see that results in the “symptom” ... lack of consistency:
🛑 Lack of time 🛑
I get it, you are already crazy busy seeing patients, meeting business coaches, dealing with the background of your business…. That you simply just don’t have time for learning, growing, and managing your social media for yourself #whosgottimeforthat
Have you been struggling to find time to work on your Social Media presence?! Let me know by typing YES or NO below👇
tell me the stories about the people who persevered despite all the odds stacked against them and i could listen for days 💭
started writing on www.medium.com/@swoo_ for the first time. not sure what will come of it but let’s continue to grow together - even through the uncertainty 🌱
This time next week I hope you’re still outraged. I hope you’re still appalled. I hope you still pause in gratitude after hugging a loved one... I hope it’s because you still understand your privilege. Some of us have more than others and to be honest some of us choose to pass.
If you’re not a minority you might not get it. Essentially what it means is that you’re aware. ALL THE TIME. That because of what you look like you could be in danger. So sometimes for some people where they can they choose to fit in. Not be different.
It sounds a bit inauthentic but it’s a matter of safety. To those of us in the world who can’t or choose not to blend we have a completely different experience of the world.
New Zealand lost 50 people because a terrorist decided to kill them.
Yet, this is not the first time we’ve heard a story like this and it won’t be the last unfortunately. I do think that the conversations that happen after great tragedies are so important. I also think they end too quickly.
If you are someone who benefits from the privilege of not having to be aware of prejudices, racism and xenophobia: it would be a good time to remember this is a 24/7 situation.
Sometimes it’s tragedies like Christchurch. Other times it’s like when, a friend of mine said to me a few years ago “the underground gives me anxiety because I worry someone will see my hijab and push me on the tracks.” She was 21.
She took the tube twice a day.
Islamophobia is a very real issue daily Muslim people are marginalised and targeted.
They have been for a while and I am so sorry for your pain as a community.

Keeping this #findoutaboutmefriday thing going over here! Happy Friday, happier Spring! 🦋
In addition to being a photographer my second love is podcasting. It’s interesting for me to swing to the whole opposite side of the spectrum to share peoples stories based only on sound. No visuals, just questions. I ask. I wait. I give them space to think and answer thoughtfully. I challenge them to think deeper. The most beautiful thing about being a podcaster for me is the level of trust people have with me. I’m not sure exactly why- and sometimes during our interviews I even say, ‘you know you’re not just talking to me, right?’ And they’re ok. I guess I make them feel comfortable enough at that point that sharing their stories feels safe.
In 2016 I started my own podcast. I was taking a bath listening to my very first podcast ever, Big Magic with Elizabeth Gilbert and she was interviewing a photographer who wanted to be a podcaster and she just encouraged her to jump in. I sat up quick and had my lightbulb moment and thought ‘holy hell, I’m gonna do it!’ .
And I did.
Eyes Up, Heart Open is my podcast.Despite struggling to find that super unique common thread to the stories I was sharing here, one jumped out. Stories of love, loss and redemption. Asking questions of people you already know. Dig deeper into those relationships you already have. We all have stories, despite us thinking we don’t. You do. Trust me.
My podcast has been inactive for a bit. I got overwhelmed with the editing and post production. But it’s such a passion project for me I can’t not be involved any longer. I’m sharing this here today because I want to put it out there to you all and hold myself accountable to share the stories I have recorded. I’m excited. A little overwhelmed but mostly excited. Hop on over to iTunes or SoundCloud or at my site EyesUpHeartOpen.com and give space to these stories that are up there, they are powerful and beautiful! 📷: @ktgreyhunter
