I hope I’m not the last person in the world to have heard about Geocaching? Am I?
I was introduced to the concept during the Biodiversity Walk on Friday evening and have now possibly become hooked.
What is geocaching?
Geocaching is an outdoor recreational activity, in which participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or mobile device and other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers, called "geocaches" or "caches", at specific locations marked by coordinates all over the world.
It’s basically like a world wide treasure hunt that thousands/ millions of people play.
10 days Morocco are over now! I had an amazing roadtrip with @dou_720 through the northern part of #morocco . We started in #rabat , where we rent our car, a fiat panda🚙 then we went to #chefchaouen , the blue city of Morocco. There we spent two nights at Dar Onsar, a very nice accommodation air b&b. It was 50€ for a double room for 2 nights and breakfast was included. In Chefchaouen weet two girls from California who also wanted to go to #fés , so they joined us on our drive. The police stopped us for times but most of the times they were very friendly and told us to go further (once we had to pay, cause we were catched by a speedcam).
In Fés we enjoyed an amazing patella on the rooftop from the restaurant Sekaya.
On the next day we drove to #midelt , before we went to #merzouga . Merzouga is a town directly nexto the dunes of the #sahara . I recommend to do the #cameltrekking .
The next day brought us to #quarzazate , there we had probably our most expensive stay in the Ecolodge l'ile de Quarzazate. It was a very beautiful place, away from everything. There was a big garden with all kinds of herbs and flowers amd they had a peacock family, cats and dogs and I shouldn't forget the pool with lake view.
We spent our last two nights in the sun Hostel in #marrakesh . The Host was amazing and we were invited to try some things they eat for breakfast during Ramadan (at 7:28pm :D).
On the last day we had to drive back to Rabat to give the car back and catch the flight to London in the evening.
We spent about 430€ each for renting the car, fuel, food and accommodation, but you can definitely safe more money, if you choose always the cheapest accommodation (tip: choose places with free breakfast) and eat streetfood.
Additional we had to pay the flight and some souvenirs.
For renting the car we had to pay 210€ for 10 days, but its even cheaper if you're older than 25, cause you have to pay less for insurance. I recommend to take full insurance, cause the people in Morocco drive crazy!

Hace tiempo que descubrí que en mi vida funciona una fórmula bien sencilla:
Tienda de campaña.
Saco de dormir.
Cámara de fotos.
Felicidad absoluta..." | Regranned from @simonsaysadventure
