We have had the most gorgeous January in Victoria, even a few long-sleeve days. @tatummontague is taking full advantage of the weather and representing his Lined Mountain Long Sleeve.
Happy adventuring everybody!

Moments like these will help you see beyond the grey skies.
Actually we made some pretests to pass the DIN EN 1860-1:2018-09 certification (Norm for appliances, solid fuels and firelighters for barbecueing). We are on a good way to pass.👍

Weekend market | It was always fun to walk around the #market, especially after I'd stayed there for a while - people started to recognise me and greeted me warmly. It made me felt increasingly at #home! Not only did walking around the market help to know more about the local lifestyle, such as the price of commodities and the available sources of nutrients, it also allowed me to hear many stories about people's daily concerns and have a rough idea of how people interact with each other. A big bonus: getting those valuable information while enjoying amazing #streetfood!
With a 3 month old baby at home, i cant leave as much or as long as i would want to. Therefore i think it's important to still spend time outdoors and around a campfire. I took this shot a couple years ago in the backyard with friends. I started building a lean to shelter on my homestead as well but haven't worked on it in a couple weeks due to a knee injury. Cant wait to finish this thing! Pictures to come eventually 🌲🌳🔥🌳🌲
Don't compare your beginning to someone else's middle, or your middle to someone else's end. This is something that I struggle with a lot on this platform. I didn’t start hiking until my mid-twenties, and I didn’t take my first backcountry camping trip until a few years after that. I still sometimes feel as if there is something I am missing, a class in school on a day I was sick where everyone learned how to properly pack a backpack, ski tour, rock climb, preform backcountry first aid and tie every knot known to man whilst blindfolded with one hand tied behind their back… and ever since I’ve been trying to play an endless game of catch up. So if you ever feel this way remember that some people have their first night in an alpine hut before their first birthday, some learn to ski tour at 16 maybe your first hike is at 23 to impress a boy, perhaps your first summit hasn’t happened yet. But just remember that everyone had to start somewhere.

We drove to this lake with the intention of taking pictures with amazing reflections in the background. Didn’t quite expect it to be frozen though.
It was freezing cold, I couldn’t feel my feet and I still can’t believe that we went swimming in this exact spot last summer.
Those are the moments when nature fascinates me most. It’s ever changing, incredibly versatile and always beautiful in a different way.
Bonding with nature is so easy and magical at the same time ❄️ | @northbond | 📸 @nicaiken | *ad

I have a newfound love for Lake Louise. Not that I ever fell out of love with it, exactly. @glennparryphoto and myself half-seriously refer to it as “Disneyland” every time we visit in the warm months, as it’s usually swarming with layers of tourists so thick that it can be impossible to get to the lake shore. However, in the winter, the crowds somewhat dissipate. The expansive lakeshore eventually freezes over and becomes piled with thick white snow. An ice skating rink is cleared out, there is an ice sculpture display in January (happening right now), and horse-drawn carriage rides are available. The magic of a Canadian Rockies winter surrounds the lake everywhere you look and it’s impossible to not become lost in its charm. ❄️ When is your favourite time to visit classic Lake Louise?
