I got a special request to review an Amazon Prime film called Surprise.
The plot is a man named Mike buys a camera for his girlfriend's surprise party but gets a camera that doesn't stop recording. The camera then records a LOT of secrets during the party which leads to most of the guest trying to destroy it and you just really feel bad for Mike because all of his friends and family are lying to him. The film has some good humor and the acting is good. There's nothing special though. The camera isn't supernatural, there's no death or action. Just a birthday party with people doing shit that should have been kept private and the camera catching them. Then it has a ending that even left Mike laughing. Poor guy. So I found the film entertaining and it was a good watch but it doesn't have a rewatch value. I have to admit, I usually hate Amazon Prime films because they are terrible but this was a good movie, give it a watch if you have Amazon Prime.
Another shot of the 'three watch collection.' The age old question: would you rather a varied collection of a few watches used for different things, or one all rounder (Explorer, Aqua Terra etc) that can handle all occasions? What do you reckon? 🤷♂️ #sotc
