This trip to Cuba was a little different then the last but quite the adventure. We had set out to road trip 5 hours east of Habana to Cayo Santa María and mid way we decided to head south to check out the town of Trinidad. Trinidad is a colonial town in Cuba filled with lots of colors and old Spanish architecture. Back in the 17th century it was a huge trading center that attracted a number of pirates due to how much wealth was in the town. Now tourist are attracted to this town because of the colonial ambiance and their top quality tobacco and cigar production. We spent a day here which was def not enough, but we were able to roam around the colorful streets of Trinidad 💛

🌀Rumba riffs roll through cobbled squares, vintage cars ply the streets and beautifully architectural gems share the stories of the Old Havana and... La Bodeguita del Medio... Mojito’s birthplace!
📍La Havana, Cuba 🇨🇺 ➡️ 2012
These dogs have been issued identification cards and provided with state sponsored accommodation, health care and have been vaccinated. More than a dozen state institutions have 'adopted' a stray dog, which is then given an official state identity card with its photograph, name and where it lives. Workers feed the dogs too, so it’s kinda like an ad hoc humane society. Meet Canelita, Pelusa (his name is fluff 😍) and Aparicio.
🔺Havana in green...💚🇨🇺😍
