Ohrid is so incredibly charming! This little lake town has great food, a lively nightlife, water activities, a castle, and plenty of cool hikes. After trekking through the Old Town with my friends, we made it to the castle just in time to watch the sunset— it was one of the best I’ve seen yet, and such a great vantage point! Then, we took a shortcut back down and stumbled upon this little dock/walkway over the lake! It was the perfect spot to have a couple drinks and enjoy the view, and also the first time I remembered to take a photo all day! 🤦♀️
Since I’ve been traveling with three very tall guys for the last two weeks (they look like my disorganized bodyguards), I’ve spent a lot of time trying to keep up (“I’VE GOT LITTLE LEGS, Y’ALL! WAIT FOR ME!”), laughing my ass off, and straight up adventuring! They’re all pretty terrible at taking photos for me, even when I line it up for ‘em— but they’re learning. More of Macedonia to come soon! 🇲🇰

Ohrid was definitely a big surprise to me. The lake on the border with Albania is one of the most beautiful ones in Europe; the water is so clear! And then there is the St. John at Kaneo, which allows you to take amazing photos 🇲🇰
