If you find yourself wanting to break away from the monotony of Ikea, get lost in the magic aisles of Gift Shop in the Footscray neighborhood of Melbourne. You can find everything here from multi-colored plastic roses to arrays of pastel-coloured collanders. This gem was captured by OTG curator @susu_studio. #OTGMelbourne#Footscray#onthegrid
“Achieving the summit of a mountain was tangible, immutable, concrete. The incumbent hazards lent the activity a seriousness of purpose that was sorely missing from the rest of my life. I thrilled in the fresh perspective that came from the tipping the ordinary plane of existence on end.” - Jon Krakauer

Early morning food offering to the Monks in Thailand. The unique experience here is that the Monks come to you by a boat 🛶🛶to collect the food and offer a blessing🙏🙏. This is the only place in Thailand 🇹🇭🇹🇭 where Monks travel by boat and collect the food.
“Life is about figuring out who you are, it is about accepting who you are, and then allowing it to blossom.”
I believe one of the greatest ways of showing oneself love is to acknowledge the parts of you that society has taught you to deny. To awaken your true self. To show up fully because you have learned to accept (acknowledge) that this is who you are.
I know I am not alone in behaving and/or living a life that I was told is the only way to live. I went through life thinking these were the goals in which I had to achieve in order to be recognized as worthy in this world.
When I uncovered that I did not want to be a mother or a wife, it was one of the most liberating moments in my life! I felt a huge weight lifted off my chest as I realized that I had been obsessed with life goals that did not actually resonant with me.
With each day that passes, I find myself at cross roads. It is a moment of decision between the way life has been prescribed to me versus the melody of my soul. It has become a conscious choice to question, explore and challenge these ways in order to find what I want. And who I truly am.
I encourage you to do the same. To question, ponder, explore and challenge all the ways in which you’ve been taught to live your life. Some things may fit while other things may not. Provide yourself the opportunity to uncover who you truly are so you can fully embrace it!

In such a picturesque city you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to viewpoints. Our favourite was the view from ‘the black tower’ along the walls of the Prague Castle.
We managed to capture the Vltava river and it’s bridges aswell as the orange rooftops✨ .
Surrounded by green hills and multiple volcanoes, Antigua is a beautiful little colonial city with so much to see and do. From Spanish lessons, to hipster cafes, to epic volcano hikes, you could easily spend weeks here. And yes, it’s very safe 😉🇬🇹🌋
Day 2: Self-driving the Pamir Highway. Rockslides are really common on mountain roads at this time of year. We were held up a few times (once for 5 hours and once overnight) by rockslide-blocked roads, while crews worked hard to clear the debris. But really, you don’t want to be underneath one of those, so waiting patiently is better😮 Read full story on my blog (LINK IN BIO)🌪
Not so patiently waiting for these lakes to thaw ☀️

“When one tugs at a single thing in nature, he finds it attached to the rest of the world.” - John Muir.
Feeling very small but utterly connected to everything else under this Scottish sunset 💙.
