Leeds Trinity School of Journalism have banned lecturers from using capital letters in case the students get offended!
Can I just apologise to my furriends for the fact that I have used 8 capitals so far in my attempt to adhere to good grammar and the last word in the picture.
Double tap if you think "sensitive" content control has gotten OUT of control! 🙄 What do you think?
Looks like yet another post of ours from yesterday was marked sensitive - after less than one hour! 🤣
Apparently the video of @paivabaracat filleting a nice Yellowfin "contains sensitive content which some people may find offensive or disturbing" 🤔
The interesting thing here is the video cover photo did not show anything graphic - the knife was being held away from the fish, and there wasn't any cut marks yet.
So clearly this cover photo showed an accurate preview of what was going to happen, thus giving any non-following Vegans the choice to not press play..... so there shouldn't have been any reason to mark the post "sensitive" ? 😑

There seems to be a rise in victimhood mentality. Now before I go off on a rant I will say this...this rise might only be an illusion. With today’s tech and social media EVERYONE has a voice so we may be perceiving things the same way a news report on a man who got eaten by a shark could make us think shark attacks are on the rise. Ok..rant time...the victimhood mentality is not new to me or anyone else who’s been in fitness for a long time. From “my genetics made me fat” to “I can’t workout because I have no time” people have absolved themselves of the responsibility of their own health for a long time. People seem to think that identifying as a victim is more empowering. It’s sad when more people are extremely offended by a kneeling football player than there are people who donate time or money to veterans or to those who have actually suffered at the hands of racism. It’s sad when we care more about what a president says than what a president actually DOES. Lastly...it’s important to note WHY humor exists in the first place. We value humor because it allows us to talk about tough subjects. We laugh TOGETHER to acknowledge the tension TOGETHER. Jokes can be offensive...but sometimes that’s why they are so great. #mindpump#fitness#offended#dontbeapussy
