Traveling for 9 months made us realize there is so much exploring to do right in your own backyard. Now that we’re back to work our adventures are a little shorter than they used to be. That means we’re always watching the clock a little closer! ⏱ .
So this past weekend we grabbed our Briston watches and headed into our own backyard, NYC, for some close to home adventures. 😊
Briston watches are a company based out of our favorite area in Paris! We’ve partnered with them show you the best places to stop at in NYC if you’re short on time! ❤️
First stop with our Briston watches? The Tudor City Overpass that gives you a birds eye view of the Chrysler Building, an Art Deco styled skyscraper. 🏙

There was a wise old owl
who sat in a tree
The more he heard
the less he spoke
Why can’t we be like
that wise old owl in the tree?

Autumn reflections at the Conservatory Water in Central Park, New York City
The owl quote is for the two owls I saw yesterday in the Ramble, just several meters away from the first photo. Swipe to see them! 🦉🍂🦉
Not the sharpest shots as the owls were way up high and I only have a 300mm but I’m so thankful that in the middle of this big great city, we can experience and see these birds.
The first owl is a barred owl, and the second one is a saw whet owl, one of the smallest owl species in North America.
