☞Confused on how to make flashcards? Well I’ve got you covered!
There are many ways to make flashcards and even many different types of flashcards. For this post I will be sharing how I personally make my flashcards to ensure that they are effective and useful:
1- I write out my summary notes for the chapter I want to make flashcards on
2-When I go to review the chapter for the first time after making them, I write out the most important information into flashcards
Now when it comes to the actual information that I write on flashcards, it varies from chapter to chapter and even from subject to subject. ∘
Most common information I make my flashcards for include:
- Key definitions (ones I know will most likely and asked in the exam)
- Formulas - Key concepts/theories -summarized into points/few words
- Key diagrams and cycles/processes
That’s basically how I make my flashcards, pretty simple and straightforward. I find this way of making flashcards very effective for me and it really helps to keep the information fresh in my mind, especially for exam revision.
If you are planning on making flashcards or even make your own presently, give this technique a try too as it may help you make your studying more constructive.
Have a fun and productive weekend ahead everyone!! 👍🏼

Notes from last's night class ! I didn't even know there was a such thing as divorce counseling ! It aids in the transition from marriage to divorce. Separating finances , providing mediation without attorneys, coordinating lifestyle changes ! My marriage and family class is one of my favorite ones I took so far . What's your favorite class? What's your major ?
It's not even really winter and the lighting is already a nightmare I'm so sorry

Happy Thursday! 📚
Notes: other physical applications of integrals (math)
Today was a study day (as Thursdays are), and I’ve mainly been working on math today, but I also got programming done as well 😄 This evening I’m heading to a Christmas banquet (julebord) this evening, which is going to be a nice break from studying 💃🏽 Do you have any fun events at uni before exams/Christmas break?
End of semester
It must that point where my first due dates of the year are beginning to crawl up, and I'm agonizingly mindful of the work I have due. I guess it's smarter to be agonizingly mindful than be willfully ignorant, isn't that so? With November around the bend, it's coming up to the last couple of long stretches of the semester and I am so prepared for my birthday.
It's actually less work than I had on a year ago, yet regardless i'm feeling a smidgen tense about everything. Despite everything i'm toying with applying for masters, so I truly need to get decent evaluations this semester on the off chance that I do go down that course. Despite the fact that, I'd make due with making due until the year's end without a breakdown in the library, to be completely forthright. Is that a sensible objective? I suspect as much.
Move on January when I'll be praising the finish of the semester with an additional expansive gin and tonic.
today, i have a math test and i am so anxious... mainly bc the test could be anywhere on the difficulty range :// i always say this, but this test either boosts or destroys my already-low grade
if any of you have tests today, i wish you the best of luck! 🍀

my end of semester exam starts in 10 days and i am not ready :"
Karen Heartstring :
The buddhists and the confucians and the greatest monotheistic mystics did with their minds and hearts what gymnasts and dancers do with their bodies.
The great theologians in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam say you begin with the idea of a god who is personal.
God takes you beyond the ego. We transcend from our greed, pompous, egotism, cruelty to reach God.
We are beings who fall very easily into despair because we are meaning seeking creatures.
Forgiveness is better for you. Peace is better for you. But when we live in a violent society, our religion becomes violent too. Religion gets sucked in and
becomes part of the problem.
John Haught :
There is a restlessness, a tendency of the cosmos to go beyond itself.
We experience this in ourselves as we are just as much a part of the universe as rivers and rocks are.
Therefore, we should use what is going on in our own experience as a key to what us happening in the cosmos as a whole.
What we have in the New Testament is a story that is trying to awaken us to trust that our lives make sense, that in the end everything works out for the best.
Ronald Numbers :
Ellen White is the founder of seventh day adventists.
Ken Wilber :
For longtime meditators, there is an awareness during waking, dreaming, and deep sleep states.

Karen Armstrong :
I am interested in the axial age when many great sages appeared, buddha, socrates, confucious, jeremiah and the mystics of the upanishads because it was the pivot, or the axis, around which the future spiritual development of humanity has revolved. We have never gone beyond these original insights. And they have so much to tell us.
From about 900 to 200 BCE, we had confucianism and taoism in china, hinduism, buddhism, jainism in india, monotheism in Israel, and philosophical rationalism in Greece.
They developed independently of each other but without any collusion, they all came up with a remarkably similar solution to the spiritual ills of humanity.
Before the axial age, religions had been very different, based on external rituals which gave people intimations of greatness. The axial sages discovered the inner world. Religions became much more spiritualized because humanity had taken a leap forward. People were creating much larger empires and kingdoms, a market economy was in its early stages. Which means the old, rather parochial visions were no longer adequate. And these religions were torn apart by an unprecedented crescendo of violence. In every single case, the catalyst for religious change had been a revulsion against violence.
The spiritual message by the sages was to give up and abandon your ego for the root cause of suffering lay in our desperate concern with self which often needs to destroy others in order to preserve itself. They insisted that if we stepped outside ego, then we would encounter Brahman or God, Nirvana or the Tao.
All these sages, with the exception of the Greeks, posited a counterideology to the violence of their time. The safest way to get rid of egotism was by mean of compassion. And the 1st person to promulgate the golden rule, the bedrock of this empathic spirituality was confucius 500 years before christ.
Confucius said : look into your heart, discover what is that gives you pain and then refuse to inflict that pain on anybody else. Do not do to others as you would not have them do to you.
Hi everyone so I have had a pretty weird day! I dissected a sheep's eye today it was interesting... lol and we are almost finished with the Fall 2018 semester! Ya~y! But I don't think I'll pass my math class it's not that the concepts are too difficult even though they kind of are, it's more I didn't do what I needed to do and I didn't take into account how much time I should spend on each class... Hopefully I'll pass but if not well, it's just one class and I can always take it again! Well I hope you enjoy the rest of your day! 』@shimastudies ～Michelle
