After a long road trip, followed by a birthday party today, I was exhausted when I got home but things needed to be done. Mowing, weed eating, laundry, dishes and schoolwork for little man had to get done. So, what was I to do??? Duh, no brainer🧠 2 packs of Keto Energy were on the menu...and Thank God I had them. The goeey silician slice from J & V in Brooklyn. I love this place, their pizza is old school and delicious. One of my top slices in Brooklyn, this area in Bensonhurts has a ton of good pizzerias but this is my favorite within the area. I actually went to Vic's ong Kings highway but thry were closed so I came here instead. Can't stress how great this place is, and very affordable.

🤗 texture: once you leave the pint out for a bit, the ice cream gets pretty creamy! Much like other Halo Top flavors. As well, throughout the pint there are bits of jelly swirls. Other than that, no real chunks or texture pieces (and I’m a sucker for chunks so I wish there were some!)
😛 taste: I’m impressed with the flavor bc it actually tastes like PB&J! As much as an ice cream can, I think. It’s sweet but not overly so. I love PB&Js so I could eat this flavor all day 😅
🤔 would you do it again? Yes! But I much prefer the flavors with chunks that add some additional texture. With the great taste but mediocre texture, I give this an 8/10 👏🏻 great job, @halotopcreamery!

Sunday’s are usually so relaxing for me. 😳 USUALLY However, since it’s been absolutely grey and pouring in philly and I’ve spent the whole weekend on my butt studying for this exam I have coming up, I am ready for a new week! 😂 I have to be honest that, with this first exam, I have some pre-test jitters starting to kick in. However, I’ve been trying something new when I feel the anxiety build up by saying “IM EXCITED.” Call it wacky, but it actually helps to redirect my energy and forces me to continue to focus. With trying to study a year’s worth of real analysis, I’m going to need all the help I can get!
Anyways, there’s nothing like treating yourself to a big bowl of goodness when you have exams a coming. I always keep a batch of my avocado magic sauce in my freezer for these sorts of “dinner emergencies”. It’s creamy dreamy goodness with a secret ingredient to bring on the umami.
