A little wifi is all we need, there’s a few things we do on the road as jobs, we will share a few of them this week. Kate retouches images for clients and shares files via FTP. Inside the van we are installing the NEC monitor for color grading and we will also use it to watch movies. For answering emails and managing social media a shady spot outside with the laptop makes for a perfect office. Check out what she does here @katefield.retouching
Agate Fossil Beds in Western Nebraska. As dinosaurs perished, mammals took center stage in The Cenozoic Era. The fossils were first discovered by a Nebraska rancher on his ranch in the late 1800’s. #nebraska#nomadiclife#nationalmonument
Enjoying the last days of summer on Vancouver Island. Been a whirlwind of amazing mountain biking this summer. Soon we'll be off to Newfoundland until after Christmas. The family feels are high, life is good!
It rained all day today, but when there are beautiful views and cozy nooks to hang out in, it’s not so hard to make the best of it. I recently read a quote that said something like “there isn’t bad weather, just inappropriate clothing.” So instead of staying inside the whole day when it was pouring, we roamed this beautiful little town in our raincoats and found a cozy coffee shop on the bay and relaxed with hot tea and got some school work done. (We got some laundry done too!) You wouldn’t believe that the day cleared up and ended with blue skies and a golden sunset. And if you think our life is perfect and without struggle... it’s not the cute little one in this photo laughing has been having a 15 min meltdown over a kindle and we forgot to wash a whole bag of laundry and will have to go back to the laundromat tomorrow.

Need to get back to flying.. hard sitting in an exam room with weather like this
Iceland has endless natural beauty. For photographers the islands moody weather make for some perfect picture taking conditions.
Waterfalls in particular seem to be around every corner. Seljalandsfoss is one of the islands most incredible ones. Here a small trail leads behind the water fall (expect to get soaked) where you can feel the power of thousands of gallons of water pouring down in front of you. #iceland@iceland_unlimited
