Next year will be the big 10 year for us. Me and this dude right here get to have some kidless time out at the RV this weekend! All the praises go to ‘amma for taking both kids...one who does not sleep through the night still.
And blessings be upon her.
We have a major project we’re working on and are so excited to show you next week!
I love the ever-changing views from our office! Did you know that natural light boosts productivity in an office? According to the World Green Building Council, longer distance views, away from computer screens or written documents, allow the eyes to adjust and re-focus, which reduces fatigue, headaches, and effects of eye strain. Views also have a positive impact on well-being, in part by providing a psychological connection with other groups of people while in the safe space. Interesting stuff. And here I just thought it was pretty!!
Hari Pertama di Malaysia, setelah mengunjungi Pabrik @julies.ind yang ada di Melaka, malam harinya kami semua menikmati sajian khas Melaka.
Salah satunya di restoran .
🚩Amy Heritage Nyonya Cuisine, Melaka
1. Bendi Kukus
Oiya, kentangnya legit deh.
5. Soup Nyonya
Hampir sama dengan soup daging di Indonesia, berisikan kol, jamur, telur puyuh, okra, wortel dll.
Makanan pembukanya, lagi-lagi aku lupa namanya dan gak catet pula 😂😅 aku deskipsikan aja ya,ini kulitnya seperti kulit pangsit lalu diberi isi sayuran dan potongan ayam. Rasanya mirip dengan isian pastel namun beda dikulit, makannya dicocol dengan saus sambal bangkok. Nyam.

We started the day by jumping over the fence of our stay because they locked the the gate out under the night, and we really needed to get with the bus in time😂
We are getting tired of all the bus journeys because they drain all the energy out of one. But they take you to incredible places. Today we visited a village My Lai that got massacred without any good reason under the war. Now it’s a memorial place called Son My.
After the visit we arrived at Hoi An. Here we gonna hop of the bus and spend some days. The hotel we chose is probably the fanciest we have chosen so far.
we've survived our first full week in the rv and it's been such a dream to have the freedom to roam and have a way shorter commute to our offices. still so weird to have all of our belongings with us 24/7 (we keep reminding each other to pack certain things and barely finish our sentence before we remember that everything is with us *all* the time) 😜
we've had a few kinks here and there with figuring out propane, where to fill water, where to park, how to organize our things into small spaces, and strategically planning the logistics of which pump to use at the costco gas station so we can leave without getting stuck.
we're becoming more aware of our impact on the environment and trying to create less waste. we've switched to bamboo compost toothbrushes, we use reusable mesh bags for fruit/veggies and larger bags for the grocery store, i've switched to a divacup instead of using tampons, we've completely eliminated meat and dairy from our diets, etc. we're not perfect and we still create waste but we're becoming more aware of our direct impact and we're consciously making an effort to waste less. it's not perfect, but it is progress. when you have one tiny trash can and one tiny recycling bin, the awareness is cultivated rather quickly.
we've been spending less time on our devices which has been glorious and we're generally becoming more aware of the resources we use (electricity/wifi/water/gas). all of them were so abundant during our apartment life and we somewhat took them for granted.
thank you, rv, for the lessons you're already teaching us. one week down. many, many more to go. 🙏💙✨

The grid coordinates to Clingmans Dome. The highest point in the mountains at the Smoky Mountains National Park. On a good day you can see up to 100 miles or 7 states (Tennessee, North Carolina, Kentucky, Virginia, South Carolina, and Georgia). Sits at 6,644ft.
This is the place where I let go of everything, said no more, and some decisions were made that made my life a whole lot better. The place where I left all the hurt behind and replaced it with looking forward to a brighter future. I sat on a rock for 3 hours and took in this view.
Picture taken- August 2017
This was taken just before I headed up into the mountains and entered into Yellowstone National Park. Miss the mountains like no other.

made it to destination number two!! these last 48 hours of travel have been exhausting. @flyingwiththehauks && I left costa rica yesterday at 6 am && didn’t arrive in tahiti until 6 am this morning!! not to mention we’ve been up almost this whole time 😳 but I have to say, walking into the airport to a scene from Moana (that was my first thought 😂) made it all worth while 💛
