Check out the amount of food six foster kittens and a nursing mama go through in six days. 🙀
If you are able to donate food, litter, KMR, or any other items, it is one less thing humane societies or rescue organizations need to purchase. These are non-profit organizations who heavily rely on donations to care for the animals.❤️ Please consider checking the wish lists of your local organizations, they are always in need and greatly appreciate the generosity of donors and their loving hearts. ❤️ A great many organizations need help especially in the spring time which is quickly approaching. Depending on the locale, it means kitten season, when supplies quickly diminish and are in need of replenishment. ❤️ Please see my stories and consider donating to @bflas The lovely @macnjames is spearheading a donation drive to help them restock much needed supplies before they head into this critical season. And every dollar spent gives you a chance to be entered to win a prize in a giveaway. The exact details are a quick click away in my story. 💕
Thank you for loving animals and following our Instagram. We truly appreciate the friendships we have made and love you all. 🥰
A short story in pictures by Jacky Jackerson, the foster kitten. 💕
Picture 1 - Hark, I hear the thomping pitter patter of the resident tripawd cat. He answers by the name of Quiggy Quiggerson. (The humans at this house aren’t very original with their nicknames, are they?!) Currently he is playing with my toy mouse on the floor of the girl’s room. I will observe his antics from my lofty perch.
Pic 2 - I am distracted and glance at my foster hoomom. She is snapping pics and tapping away on her magical device that sometimes shows me birdies. Does she ever go anywhere without it? Stop and smell the roses lady!
Pic 3 - I grow bored of Quiggle throwing the mouse in the air over and over again. I get down from my lofty perch. I fear he will soak me with another bath of his catspit. I am still drying out from the last one.
Pic 4 - I feel so safe. This room is the most soothing colour. Can’t keep my baby cat eyes open... zzzz😴 THE END
Breaking news!!! My hoomom discovered I am actually a boy. 🙀
It makes no difference to my loving foster family, but it was a surprising discovery nonetheless when my foster hoomom was rubbing my belly today, and thought hmmm. 🤔 Those look like boy bits! 😹
So she did what any confused hooman would do when they were told a cat was a girl, but they suspected otherwise. Hoomom texted her close animal loving friend her discovery! She said here’s some random Saturday kitten info for you! And the friend said, I love random Saturday kitten info! 😹
Don’t you just love friends like this?! 💕
So she texted her a photo of my bits, just to have a double confirmation. 😹😹😹 If you’re wondering how something like this can happen, it’s sometimes tricky when kittens are young to tell the difference. And since we were 3-4 weeks hold when our foster hoomans took us in, it makes sense. Now that we are 7-8 weeks old, it’s much easier to tell if we are a boy or a girl. 💕
Check out our stories to watch us playing and running rampant. We got a little crazy kitten town on the landing outside our room of exclusion. ❤️
Guess what, furriends, found this box just lying on the floor! 📦
So I claimed it real fast by lying right smack dab in the middle. 📦
Then the vultures started circling. I mean, my fellow cats had to come over and investigate. 📦
My hoomom said I needed to share. And she started crying about how Rose could’ve saved Jack if she’d just shared her door. 🚪
Well this is a box, and I wasn’t sharing. So I gave her the look. Swipe to see my look. 👀
Do you have “the look” you give your pawrents? We’d like to see it! 📦
Quigs finally left to bug our girl who is home sick from school today. She’s the one who so kindly left her box in the middle of the floor for us. She was getting mad at Quigs. He kept taking down her Hogwart’s castle as quick as she was building it. So now Quigs nickname is Whomping Willow. 🌳
