So, I accidentally mulched my South hugel bed with acorns this fall. I thought I was using two bags of leaves, but I kinda wasn't... I figured it was meant to be, and embraced it. Now there are #trees taking it over. Guys. I LOVE THIS MISTAKE!!!! Trees growing everywhere in my first hugel bed! I feel so blessed and can't wait to watch them develop.
Maybe it was the exceptionally cold February, or the fact that i didn’t do a whole lot the last 2 months, but suddenly I’m seeing things in a whole new light. It seems like spring has sprung new growth in me and it feels good.
Blown away by how much my hair has grown in the past 7 weeks!! It has always been slow-growing but suddenly it's growing like crazy! I think my CBD is the miracle worker here because it's time only thing in my routine that I've changed.

I just picked an early bouquet of lilac and forsythia branches from the backyard. I just love seeing the tiny buds form and savoring the early signs of spring ✨😍✨

☀️ birthday weekend giveaway countdown|3 days
For water propagation:
1. Fill a mason jar 1 inch from the top with water. Secure a piece of cling wrap taut over the opening with a canning ring or hair tie.
2. Using a steak knife or other sharp knife, poke holes just big enough to fit the callused leaf ends. Ends should not touch the water surface.
3. Place jar in a sunny windowsill and be patient. ☀️ After a few weeks, some leaves will sprout roots, others will grow tiny leaves. Some will grow both. I’ve had some mold-those I toss outside.
Although it can be done either way, I’ve had the most success when leaves aren’t touching the water. Leaves were molding and withering more often when placed directly in water. I have had roots reach into the water and develop.
