What's the most remote place you have ever been to?
I always thought driving in Namibia felt very remote, also some places in the Faroe Islands. But after this trip to Iceland I think I have to agree that despite increased tourism Iceland is still a place where you can have a feeling of being alone in the world... @glacialexperience.is took us to such places in the Icelandic highlands. In fact, one day we haven't met anyone for 8.5 hours! Can you imagine?! And we explored quite a lot that day, not that we stayed in one place, just in case you wonder 😀
#DidYouKnow the name Campo de' Fiori (literally "field of flowers") gets his name from the great variety of flowers that used to adorn this populated square in Rome? The weekly markets were moved here originally in 1869, making Campo de' Fiori one of the richest spots in Rome but this place is known for yet another reason. Old prints and paintings revealed this square used to be the scene of public executions in Rome! Nowadays, it went back to its original purpose, and the different vendors offer fresh produce to try on the spot and regional specialties for you to bring home! When visiting, stop at Forno de Campo de Fiori for a square of focaccia filled with fresh cuts or a typical "supplì", a delicious fried rice ball!
The place where I feel at home. 🏠 Great hotel and fantastic host (as mentioned in one of my previous post). Because of their great hospitality- I get to enjoy a good bath in my favorite tub 🛀😘
What’s your favorite thing to do while traveling, staying in a hotel?💖
Not vegetarian, but one of the BEST things I've tasted in a while!
The fish has been cooked in a super chunky turmeric sauce - in guessing they put a couple of roots in there! Sooooo delicious! I also ate a side of morning Glory with almost an entire bulb of garlic sliced in there!
One happy (even if a little over loaded!) tummy!
