🚨 CHANGE MY MIND, RIGHT NOW THE THUNDER ARE THE SECOND BEST TEAM IN THE WEST 🚨
Right now the West is wide open, we see teams expected to be top dogs like the Rockets & Jazz struggling, and while other teams like the Nuggets and Clippers have been good, the Thunder are the biggest threat to the Warriors and are the second best Western Conference team.
Their star-power is underrated, and I feel like that is because Westbrook is now underrated. Sure, he has flaws, but he went from 2 years ago being neck & neck with Curry for best point guard to now being the 4th or 5th best. What you can’t deny is how hard he competes. I think the narrative now is that all he does is miss shots and turn the ball over. While he isn’t the most efficient, he is EVOLVING and now letting Paul George, a top 15 player take over games. This is huge, and the Thunder have been humming because of it. The 1-2 punch of Westbrook and George can compete with anybody.
Their supporting cast isn’t too shabby either. Steven Adams can be a nightmare on the glass, and Schröder is definitely capable as a guard and has been a good pickup. What’s really important though is that they boast a top defense WITHOUT ONE OF THE LEAGUES BEST DEFENDERS! Andre Roberson is a lockdown guy that will comeback later this season. They’ll be super hard to score on, and other teams have to use a lot of energy to stop them.
They are 1st in defensive rating, get the most steals per game, and are a top 10 rebounding team. PG & Westbrook can put up points with anyone, and they’ll only get better!

Lebron and Wade face each other one last time! Wade has had an amazing career and him and Lebron will undoubtably go down as one of the best duos of all time. What is the greatest duo of all time? Who would win in a 2 on 2 tournament? #NBA#lebron#wade
PLAYER PROSPECT 🚨- ZION WILLIAMSON. Zion is potentially the number one pick in the upcoming draft and the team that picks him up will be lucky. Here’s why. Zion has tremendous athletic ability for his size and weight. He is explosive and has proven that he can get to the hoop. By December 10, 10 games into the season for duke, he is averaging 20.4 ppg, 9 rebounds, and 2.4 assists a game. These are great with also considering sharing the spotlight with other top prospects such as RJ Barrett and Cam Reddish. He has excellent rebounding skills, using his physicality and quickness. He has natural scoring ability and shows how he can take over a game using his aggression and skill. He shows spectacular passing ability and feel for the game. Although this all sounds great, he also has some weaknesses such as his free throw percentage (66.7%) and 3 point percentage (14.3%). Overall, Zion has the potential to be an NBA star if put in the right hands. 🏆

So i just saw some Cavs highlight on Twitter back when Derrick Williams played a couple of games with the Cavs so i decided to check where he was playing at the moment and to my surprise, he's playing for the Bayern Munich Basketball Team in the BBL and Euroleague!
Here's a very short recap of Derrick Williams 1st year and now:
He was drafted no.2 overall in the 2011 Draft, right after Kyrie Irving and before Enes Kanter. Some players who ended up being better picked after him were, Tristan Thompson, Jonas Valanciunas, Kemba Walker, Klay Thompson, Kawhi Leonard, Jimmy Butler, etc.
He got drafted by the Timberwolves where he only played 2 seasons and a half where he averaged: 10ppg, 5rpg on 42% from FG and 30% from 3PT.
He never panned out as a 6'7" ish undersized PF without a consistent Jumpshot and his career Averages in the NBA are: 9ppg, 4rpg on 43% from FG and 30% from 3PT! His FT percentage is 71%.
So far right now, he's played 3 games with Bayern Munich and is averaging: 11ppg, 2rpg, 1bpg on 48% from FG and 44% from 3PT on 3.0 (3PA).
